Motorola Droid 3 :: LED Notification Light Stopped Working
Jul 25, 2011Notification banner works fine. Led light seems to have gone kaput. The phone isn't even two weeks old. Isn't led supposed to last a lifetime or two?

Motorola Droid 2 :: Global LED Notification Light Not Working?
Jun 13, 2011I bought my phone about 3 months ago and a few days ago the notification light has stopped working. It doesn't work for Text messages or battery low, basically it "burned out." I've tried a data factory reset and still no go. I was thinking about warranty replacing the phone but I hate to do that for certain reasons. I know I don't have any applications that would make it not work, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

So I uninstalled the app and now the LED notification light does not blink when it is in screen off mode. It blinks twice when you lock it, then the notifications stop. HELP! Aug 21, 2012I leave my phone in the dock by my bed and have a timeframe smart action set to turn off all ringers but I can't seem to find a way to turn off the notification light. It gets kind of annoying to wake up to get a drink and see that light flashing because of a new email like a new photon or an email. If I could set a smart action to turn the light off at night that would be excellent.

Oct 25, 2012This botched release of ice cream has taken a lot of time. Support personnel don't know the product. I've been disconnected twice from Motorola personnel. That's an old trick - hang up on the customer in mid-sentence - pretend it's a phone problem - don't call back.
I've figured out most of the goop. The last problem I have is that I do get the green notification light for text messages but it's gone for e-mails. Does anyone know how to get the light back?
Motorola, you did a poor job with this release. Support personnel don't know the product and you are way understaffed to handle all the calls.
Motorola Droid Bionic :: Blue/green Notification Light?
Oct 21, 2012I get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.

The phone ringer stopped working and I have to completely shut off the phone and turn it back on to get it to work, but then it will randomly stop working again. Aug 6, 2012Every time I connect my phone to the original USB cable the Motocast USB program starts running and then it says please wait while Motocast USB loads your content, and finally the MML has stopped working window pops up with the only option to close the program. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed a new version of it, but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have downloaded a patch that I replaced, even though when I tried to replace it the computer told me I required administrator authorization. However when I proceeded with this action it seems to have replaced the old one with the new one.I have no idea what to do, nor know where to find the problem in writing to post somewhere. My computer knowledge is very limited.

Jul 16, 2011I have been using corporate sync on my phone for months and it worked great. Just this thursday it stopped working. Im getting an error message that says Connection error.
I know all my settings are correct. It isnt that a password was changed. With the same settings I am still able to sync the email on my Xoom. So I dont know why it wont work on my phone.
Ive tried deleted the whole account and re-adding it. When I put everything in, it acts like all is well, no errors. But when I go to the email and hit refresh I just keep getting the 'Connection error'?

Dec 14, 2011I've been using K9 to connect to my IMAP email account and everything was working fine for the past month. Woke up yesterday and noticed it was no longer downloading new email and would just time out trying to connect. Tried removing and reinstalling the account - no luck, can't connect with the usual settings. Also tried creating the account with the default Android email and MailDroid and they also won't work. My provider swears that everything is working on their end and that I'm using the right settings.
