I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. But now, I have not downloaded any new apps and is giving me that clock againg.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 9530 (4.7.0.148) has started running slow at times for no reason that I can find. Simple things like un-locking the screen, deleting an email, switching to the home screen, highlighting a folder, and of course opening an app, can take up to 15 seconds. This doesn't happen all the time but is frequent enough to be annoying.
I haven't installed any apps that I can trace it to and my memory level is about the same as it has always been. I only have the normal 5 apps running in the background along with Berryweather. I do frequent battery pulls too.
I have had this OS since it came out and it has worked well for me. I have the phone set up just the way I want it.
Any ideas what could be causing my BB to slow down for no apparent reason? I have searched the board for ideas but haven't found a similar issue. I think somewhere I saw someone mention that over time the phone could accumulate a lot of old "junk" on it and this could slow it down. Could this be my problem? Should I wipe it with JL Cmder and then re-install .148? Would I be that much better off upgrading to 5.0.0.328? I would prefer to stay with .148 so I don't lose some of my apps but I'll upgrade if I have to.
So I've had the Turbo for about a month now and am extremely upset with the constant reboots. For the first few weeks the phone worked fine, nothing was out of the ordinary.
However, within this past week the phone has started freezing... I'll be using it and then suddenly the screen freezes and sits there and reboots itself. It does this a few times a day....
My upgrade to ICS a couple days ago went fine and I had no problems until last night when I rebooted my phone - just cuz - and then found that the only way BT now plays without stuttering is if I turn off wifi. No problem with 3G/4G, just wifi. I've removed and added both BT devices, rebooted the device again, and it makes no difference. Also stopped Bluetooth Share, cleared data - no change. Using the LG-HBS700 and the Motorola Elite Sliver. I can make a smart action to disable wifi when I turn on BT but that's got obvious drawbacks. I'm contemplating a factory reset but hate to do that if I don't need to.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had the Droid Turbo for a few months now, and the battery life has been great. It was the biggest reason I bought this phone in the first place. Over the past two days, however, the battery life has DRAMATICALLY downgraded. At 11 p.m. last night, I had 58% battery life with no apps running. The phone was in sleep mode. That much battery should have been able to get me through last night and ALL of TODAY. This morning, I check my phone, and I'm at 22% with the phone not in use for 8 hours.
All of the bells and whistles on this device are turned off. I don't have the reach out display thing turned on where it recognizes your movement. The screen is only taking up 30% of the battery draw. I have the bare minimum notifications turned on - the rest are off. My system did NOT update within the last two days. The battery simply seems to be freaking out.
So I preorder the RAZR and got it a day before the 11-11-11 launch. I had my phone setup and was about to go to bed and my device started a continuous reboot cycle that made the battery go dead by morning. I went to local store and the looked at it and said that they couldn't fix it will just give you a new one.I got a new RAZR and other that battery life issues which I am not happy about I can deal because I can have it charging in my office during the day. Well last night about 7 it started continuous reboot cycle this time I plugged it in and did a reset holding the power and the down volume. It been rebooting since last night I am not in my office with it plugged in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I click the menu button, settings, and manage apps, the screen goes to the 'Manage Apps" screen under the "Running Apps." The phone shows the circular loading icon and never loads. The phone doesn't freeze- I can go back to the home screen and such. If I go to settings, applications, and manage applications, the same screen shows up but under the "downloaded" applications tab and there is no problem. It would be much easier to just go to manage apps under the running apps tab so I can force close.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have the timeout for my screen set for two minutes. this is normally good as my major use is checking e-mail or surfing the web. if i am watching a Internet video longer than 2 minutes or using navigation the xoom shuts off and i have to press the power button and then play (if i was watching a video) to continue for another two minutes until it shuts off again. here's my question.. am i missing something in settings or do i just have to adjust the screen timeout time every time i want to use an app that doesn't require me touching the screen for 2 minutes?

How to determine which apps if any are the cause..
I dont believe its a faulty battery as I have a second battery and will have the same problem with that one.Yesterday I hardly used my phone. I was at home ( which is in a weak signal area) and when I checked the phone at around 8pm it was dead. Off with no charge left. Started the day with an overnight charge.
If the problem is an overactive app how can I find it and remove?
1. My phone is lagging. I notice that that this starts occuring when my internal ram gets to about 100MB or less. I never had this issue with gingerbread because I used the auto kill feature in the phones preloaded task manager. Now, ICS does not have a auto task killer and my ram is running extremely low and causeing the phone to lag, especially when going from app to app and returning to the home screen.
2. My audio has been spotty. It works one second then when you load a app that has audio it won't work. If you close the app and load it again then the audio works fine. I have gone into the system recovery and wiped the cache partion on the phone. I also use Cache Cleaner + and have reset the phone and still get the same issues as above. If the suggestions don't work then I call verizon and tell them thank you for screwing up my phone. Worked perfectly fine before with GB.
My GPS is running in the background all the time. I have checked the Task Manager app that came with the phone, and can't seem to find any applications that are running in the background that would cause the GPS to be running. In addition, I have tried turning the GPS off using the power control on the phone, but it still runs.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI used the app last night and tried out the Internet Radio function...nice function.Powered off my phone and put it on the charger for the night. This morning when I turned on the phone the music app started on its own. I only discovered the problem after my battery went from 100% charge to like 88% charge in like an hour. When I checked to see what the heck was causing the battery drain I discovered the music app was the culprit. I force closed the app and powered off the phone. Waited a couple of minutes and powered the phone on. And yes, the music app once again was started on power up and I had to force close again.

View 12 Replies View RelatedEvery since the jellybean update I've had nothing but problems. The device is always running slow, it is not smooth like butter there is a lag. And when I'm listening to music its cuts in and out as if it were a scratched cd. I've tried doing a factory restore and it didn't help. That's what Verizon suggested and it didn't work. Also Verizon's fix to everything is to send out a certified refurbished phone and I don't want that. I bought my phone brand new and I know nothings happened to my phone I don't want to a phone I know nothing about. Also I've noticed that not one of all the call recording apps work on the droid razr hd.
View 15 Replies View RelatedThe IM service is always running in applications. I have never even opened the IM application or set it up. It usually is using up between 3.1 and 3.7 MB in the memory, which isn't a big deal. It is running one process and two services. Any way to disable the IM app from constantly running in the background. I had disabled it in the Task Manager to shut off two minutes after the screen goes off but whenever the phone wakes it turns back on and seemed to make my data issues worse. I can't say for sure that adding it to the auto kill list directly affected the data connection because it may have just been another bad day for the Bionic.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMost of the time when a call ends and I'm using my H17text headset the damn music player, or whatever media app was last used, will start playing EVEN THOUGH it was not running before the call. That would not be so bad but when you have a phone that's set to lock you have to unlock it and find the damn app that's running to get it to stop. This is just plain STUPID!
I've seen this posted all over the place so Motorola my phone when we know it's a ANDROID bug. What I want to know is how to get it to STOP! I'd rather have to manually restart the damn media app after a call that to have it always start with out me wanting it!
So yesterday I was using Facebook on my Bionic for a good half hour to 40 min. After I was done I put the phone in my pocket and went on my way. About an hour later I take out my phone to use it and upon waking up the phone, there was a pop up box on the screen stating that the Facebook app was either not responding or has been running for an extended period of time would you like to terminate the app? I click on the button to kill it off and that was that.
Has anyone ever had this happen on their phone? In all the years I've owned an Android phone I have never seen something like this, is this Moto's app killer? I know I do not have any apps listed in the apps to kill in the moto app killer so I'm not sure why this pop up came up.
I kinda like the built in contacts widget, but also really like LauncherPro.
I noticed that when I use Launcher Pro as my Home replacement, that the default widgets that are included (probably motoblur) do not work.
Ive noticed that alot of stuff is running slow, ive pulled the battery and still the same, went into the running apps under settings and over half the ram is free, i thought it was supposed to be dual core, although it wasnt like this before the update
