BB Torch :: Screen Display While Making Calls?
Feb 18, 2011I have a bb torch 9800, when I make or receive calls my backlight turns off and my screen is blank until I end call, I cannot even use call waiting, speakerphone, etc b'cuz of this issue.

Sep 12, 2012I have just noticed that when I start to make a call on my 701 the screen goes blank when it starts to dial so you don't no if its dialling or shut down especially if it wait a long time to connect and you have no dialling tone. I have the screen up with the red and green squares but as soon as you dial it goes blank.

Feb 3, 2011When i dial the number and then as soon as i press the call button, the screen all sudden goes black. I mean the call is still in progress you can hear it but you can't see anything on the screen. For example, i had to turn the speaker on for the conference, but i couldn't do it because i was not able to see where anything were at.

May 6, 2011I recently noticed that my Torch 9800 (OS 6 bundle 695) screen goes blank and becomes inactive during calls. I assumed this was as a result of mistakenly clicking "clear who is it blinking" on the home screen menu, however, I've since been unable to re-enable it.Consequently, whenever I either make a call or pick up an incoming call, the screen goes blank and becomes inactive. Also when I have an incoming call waiting, I'ld hear the beeps but won't be able to see who is calling.In summary, whenever I'm on a call, I'm unable to see or do anything else with my phone until the call is over.

Jul 16, 2010Never had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.

Apr 26, 2012All of a sudden I cannot hear anything when making calls and I cannot hear anything when answering calls?? It rings both ways but when I answer I don't hear the other party and they cannot hear me. When i call someone I don't hear it ringing even though it say calling, then connected.

Nokia :: 6085 Blank Display Screen Now After Start Up
Jan 3, 2010Phone is two months old. Worked fine. Now all of a sudden, for no apparent reason,the display screen, is lit up, but, blank. Can't get Nokia greeting, nothing. Can call out,can receive calls, but, can't view screen. Removed battery, for whole night, put back in. Sim card is fine...still...blank screen.
Need help...any suggestions., or is the phone just useless now?

Aug 2, 2011Driving back home today I noticed that whilst my E6 connected to my bluetooth handsfree, it didnt change profile to car but remained on default. Usually it does as I set it in the accessories options. Anyway I heard a new sms arrive and soon after stopped at home and went to check. I tried unlocking the phone both with pressing the d pad and flicking the side slide, but the display remained blank. I tried the power button and again nothing. I eventually resorted to removing the battery and rebooting. Seemed ok.
