Driving back home today I noticed that whilst my E6 connected to my bluetooth handsfree, it didnt change profile to car but remained on default. Usually it does as I set it in the accessories options. Anyway I heard a new sms arrive and soon after stopped at home and went to check. I tried unlocking the phone both with pressing the d pad and flicking the side slide, but the display remained blank. I tried the power button and again nothing. I eventually resorted to removing the battery and rebooting. Seemed ok.
I have a Nokia E 72 with 4 push email accounts. all used to work perfectly fine.. but recently push email is not working. it shows connected to the server but inbox is empty in all 4 accounts.. it synchronizes sometimes but again goes blank.. i have vodafone mobile conect on the phone and i have reset the accounts with nokia as well as reset the phone twice. all softwares are updated and when phone is restarted it syncs for some time and again phone goes blank..
I'm using an E7 with Symbian Anna (and with all the latest, available upgrades). I purchased it 2 days ago.Somehow i managed to write an entry (?) to a specific day (30Jan2012) which makes that particular day freezed in my calendar. I can't see any entry on that day, but on the weekly view there are colored markings of my appointements and birthdays and reminders. From today the Calendar widget doesn't work on the main screen either.It is really disappointing from a business smartphone... I can see the entries of the day on my E90. If i'm searching for the birthdate of a particular person on that day in my E7, the searching application collapse as well.

My E5 is shut itself down after using Opera Web + music + Palringo. I can't turn it on after, I need to wait for about 4 hours or more before starting it. It as soft resetted alone but how can I accelerate the process if I can't even turn it back on !
Within the past 6 days, I've purchased 2 brand new Nokia E71 phones from 2 different Walmart stores, 30 mins of each other. These are phones for the Straight Talk prepaid service. I have not yet activated the phones on ST, as my goal is to first test the basic functionality to determine if it's worth the $200 and will satisfy my needs.
What's happening on both phones, in the same exact manner and location on the phone, is that the menu title name for some menus have fading text. It appears as though there's a display issue. I've attached some screenshots to make it easy to see what I'm experiencing.
However, when I've tested playing the included videos in the phone at full screen, it appears to play the videos through the menu title name area with no fading. The same goes for looking at images - I do not see any fading with the included images in that area.
I have done a Soft Reset on both phones using the *# option and from the "Factory Reset" option in the menu. This has not resolved it on either phone. I have also changed themes, changed menu colors, changed the font size, none of which has resolved this.
Thus far, I've returned one phone to Walmart and ready to return the next one now due to this issue. I'm willing to try a 3rd but that's where my limit is. I really like this phone and want it, but if this issue is indicative of a fully dead or fading display after a short period of use, I will not make the investment.
I have a nokia e6, and it is a great phone.After the latest software update, the firmware was updated to Symbian belle which is also great, however there's a big bug concerning BELLE:Sometimes when i unlock my phone, the keypad freezes and i cant type anything (the green, red, menu button all work), the keyboard freezes, so i have to restart the phone so it will function properly.
I have a Nokia E5-00 which one day out of the blue turned off. The screen went blank and does not start. On pressing the start key the phone vibrated, but nothing happened. Eventually even that stopped. I think the vibration continued till there was some power in the battery. Now the phone is dead and does not charge. Nothing happens. It does not start, PC does not detect it.
E52 New calendar items errorS/W: 051.018In Calendar when adding a New meeting in the (Enter subject) box if adding more than one line of text the previous line of text disapears. This makes it very difficult to enter longer subjects in calendar events/meetings.
I have just got E52 and I am wondering: is it possible to turn its display off completely when it is in idle mode? The light is off, but the screensaver (strip with clock) is still running up and down the display... I guess this consumes quite a bit of energy...
My E7 have sometimes an unpleasant feature: during a incoming call, display is darken (stays total black). There's nothing to hit or touch, but phone keeps ringing yet you can't answer to call. This is happening when phone is in screensaving mode. Normally there's time and day in a black display, but when phone starts ringing, display is darken.In a few seconds (maybe ten or so) display returns to normal view and you may answer to call - if one who makes a phone call happens to be still there. I have re-installing the software just yesterday and after that, there have not been that problem so far - but I have receiving only few calls since that software re-installation.
I recently received my E72 and love it! Just a question regarding the display of words in certain screens. Depending on the actual screen displayed , the text seems to fade - which is quite weird. On screens where the icons are displayed and other screens all seems fine. Switching off and rebooting doesn't help - it remains there. Is this normal or is the handset faulty?
on my E63 these would only display when mail was recieved, however on the E72 they remain displaying with a (x) where x is 0 or the number of emails unread.
I just bought a Nokia E6. But immediately after using it for about an hour or so, the display started to flicker on and off. It is continuously doing so and has gotten quite frustrating. I tried to tinker around with all the settings, updated to the latest firmware, but to no avail
I'm nokia e71 user and since i'm learning Korean, i want to be able to read Korean characters instead of question marks. language of my phone is Turkish and i don't want to change it to Korean. I just want to read, that's all. Is there a way i can do it by myself?
My phone has just developed the following problem: about every 5 seconds, the display goes blank (the backlight keeps on, if it was on), but I can see the flashing with backlight off. With the power save mode on, the display flashes quickly.The phone does this continuously. I have already tried removing the battery and also backup and factory reset, with no result.
On my Nokia E63, before updating phone firmware to 501, Hindi language was displayed and speech correctly in dictionary. But after updation hindi is not displayed at all. I have reinstalled language pack many times but not working. What is solution?

I went from the e72 to the e7 and I've noticed that when you're in the physical keyboard and press sym you don't get any regional special characters, like vocals with accents. With that to write in catalan is a pain.
My E7-00 is from the US, is it possible to change the display to Italian or better Chinese? Why can I download a Chinese dictionary but the Chinese characters do not show up when I look up a word to translate from English?
how can I set my E72 to show me also the company of the caller?As I see, I can choose only from Name, Surname or Name Surname or Surname Name.any ideea on how to set to show Name Surname Company of the one how's calling me?

I have just noticed on my E5 that the time is not displayed. I have the phone on Contacts Bar, and on the shortcut keys its Favourites and Planet, and usually next the right side key the time is displayed.I have looked and looked to see where I can this back but cannot find it.
When I try to type in numbers on the Home screen to place a call, the numbers are not displaying in the white block box that pops up. The numbers are inputting but do not display, if I type the correct numbers and press send it will call. However, when it starts ringing I get a "Note: Call Forwarding Active. I do not know if these two problems are related. I don't even know what I did to activate call forwarding. Letters and Numbers will display when pressed in other applications so I do not know what did to screw it up because they displayed before when I typed. This phone is a Straight Talk - E71.
