I have a Nokia E5-00 which one day out of the blue turned off. The screen went blank and does not start. On pressing the start key the phone vibrated, but nothing happened. Eventually even that stopped. I think the vibration continued till there was some power in the battery. Now the phone is dead and does not charge. Nothing happens. It does not start, PC does not detect it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a 9500 and I found sometimes when the screen turns black after 30 seconds, it could not be activated again with pressing screen or any bottom you could find on the phone. The screen looks black, but I could find back light is on, and I have software for screen image capture, these images I captured when screen failed showed me that all the functions are working, just the screen seems out of connection with the machine. I searched several times and I found it happens while using 9500, but there is no solution. It's not possible for me to return it back to carrier and I wonder if there is any technical analysis or solution on this. And another question, what would you do when typing letters on the edge of the screen?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E6-00 is now dead, screen doesn't power up and Ovi Suite / PC doesn't regognize it. I upgraded Ovi suite to 3.90 prior installing this new firmware for the phone, during the firmware upgrade there was a error. It didn't connect to the phone anymore. Even if I did what the Ovi Suite suggested, battery off, usb cord back to the phone, battery back and then power on - still the upgrade wouldn't continue. I tried at least twice.
Situation is so that the phone haven't a firmware at all? Is the only way to get my phone working again, by going to a Nokia Care Point and let them flash it?
MY E71 is totally dead no response, if i plug the charger it shows the Nokia LOGO & Power Charging is moving up & down, it shows charging, but my phone is not powering ON / Turning ON.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have (or better to say "had") a Nokia E66 and Nokia Software updater just completely and unrepairable (said by official service) destroyed my E66 few days after warranty ended. It is unbelievable! I was successfully using it every day until the software update. Software Updater wrote that cell phone is disconnected and I must reconnect it. I have done it many times but every time it failed. So I took cell phone to official service and they told me that they cannot flash it and only way to repair it is to replace mainboard. How is that possible? It worked very fine until software action! So I am supposed to throw my E66 to trash and buy another cell phone? Well, if yes, then not Nokia again. I want to own cell phone which is able to flash phone software without destroying whole phone!

Now I am left with three PGA game icons in my installations folder and none of them works... View 2 Replies View RelatedDriving back home today I noticed that whilst my E6 connected to my bluetooth handsfree, it didnt change profile to car but remained on default. Usually it does as I set it in the accessories options. Anyway I heard a new sms arrive and soon after stopped at home and went to check. I tried unlocking the phone both with pressing the d pad and flicking the side slide, but the display remained blank. I tried the power button and again nothing. I eventually resorted to removing the battery and rebooting. Seemed ok.

When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. So I reboot the phone and... the phone wont load pass the Nokia "connecting people" handshake it just sits there frozen and I can't force a restart I can only remove the battery and try again but the same thing happens....

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy E7 is screen is freezing up after a phone call or just after general use. It keeps happening every day. I must force a power rebooot to get the phone working again. I have called Nokia and have exhusted every option which included reloading Bella. Last resort is Nokia want's me to send my phone to Texas for a tech to investagate the problem. I think there is some kind of software problem with the locking of the phone screen and the locking switch logic on the side of the phone. When the problem happens the sceen will not work to my touch. The sceen freezes without touching.

With the almost over-sensitive touch screen interface there is a constant danger of hitting a function by accident, therefore one must have the screen locked at all times. However, it would be important to see the home screen or the running application. I need to see the screen, with or without backlight, not a clock display or blank screen. With S60 this was no problem, that's why I have an E72 for backup and SSH use. The E7 would be a better phone for this, if only it would show the contents of the screen while being screenlocked.
