I have been facing low memory issues and a lot of applications wont work. Is there a software patch that can detect temporary files and delete them from E72?
View 3 RepliesI am using Nokia E 71 and all of a sudden I am getting alert like 'Phone memory is full. Delete some data from Phone memory to received SMS'. I haven't installed anything recently in Phone memory and storage of my SMS' is also memory card. All other programs are installed in memory card. I use to browse website heavily on my phone and I think it is causing memory to be filled up due to heavy flash work.
How to delete temporary internet files?
Yesterday I was trying to open a .zip file on my phone that was around 510MB and when I click on that firstly it was opening then I got error by MS OFFICE that "there is not enough space to open this file" and now I have 510.22MB temporary files in my phone and I tried several times to delete them but it didn't make any deferance. And I also tried some cleaning applications and they are also not working.

Eventually even that stopped. I think the vibration continued till there was some power in the battery. Now the phone is dead and does not charge. Nothing happens. It does not start, PC does not detect it.

I've got a 1.25gb cache of temporary files which I can't seem to clear, I've clicked on clear and it thinks about it, but I go back later and they are still there. It's peeing me off as I'm deleting stuff left right and centre to free up memory and there's 1.25gb just sat there.

When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable
