Yesterday I was trying to open a .zip file on my phone that was around 510MB and when I click on that firstly it was opening then I got error by MS OFFICE that "there is not enough space to open this file" and now I have 510.22MB temporary files in my phone and I tried several times to delete them but it didn't make any deferance. And I also tried some cleaning applications and they are also not working.

I haven't installed anything recently in Phone memory and storage of my SMS' is also memory card. All other programs are installed in memory card. I use to browse website heavily on my phone and I think it is causing memory to be filled up due to heavy flash work.
How to delete temporary internet files?
Am on win 8. All my media files are showing up in phone mem + sd card memory. I once deleted all media from phone, removed my sd card and inserted it back but still media files seems to occupy both phone + sd memory.

It's peeing me off as I'm deleting stuff left right and centre to free up memory and there's 1.25gb just sat there.

Some files just say "track #" on the phone rather then the name of the song. On my computer I have them shown as song title, but obviously the phone picked up something different. Can the title "track #" be changed to the "actual title" and, if so, how?

Later on after I downgrade to WP 8. I couldn't sync my files or get them back again to my phone. even when I brows the files throw my PC it shows the folders but its' empty, however the size of the SD card recognize the files... I purchased Nokia Lumia 1320 Two days back, it looks and work's very good. I happy the device is having good battery back-up comparing with Nokia Lumia 925.
But i can not able to install more apps on it. i Installed Sim city & Angry Birds GO games (Both are having around 1.5GB Size). .. after that it is started giving messages saying that to make some free space. even i am having a SD CARD of 16gb... But still it is saying the same thing.... like 925 device said.
I set the volume to 15 sometimes a bit higher but the next time I check its always at 13 or lower is this some kinda default for windows phone or a bug or something ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from a Lumia 521 to a Lumia 1320 last week. I can't run Windows Phone 8.1 DP on my new 1320. Apparently it's something to do with Cricket Wireless. WP 8.1 DP will install, but then it's frequent crash/restart loops. On my Lumia 521, there was a setting to enable pushing store apps/updates from Windows Phone Store in IE 11 on my Windows 8.1 Pro x64 pc to my phone.
I can't remember where the setting was in Windows Phone 8.1 for enabling this. Also, on my Lumia 521 in the Lock Screen settings, I could set the time to never, 30 minutes, 15 minutes. 5 minutes, 3 minutes or 1 minute. On my Lumia 1320 the settings are only 1 minute, 3 minutes or 5 minutes. Is there a way to get the old settings for this back ? The 30 minutes or never is useful for updates or backups. The 5 minute crap stinks.
