Is it possible to have something like "sms prewiev" (like in E65 model) in main screen of E6 (Next to clock, widgets etc) ?I had something like this in E65 and it was quite nice.In E6 there is only emails preview in this "way" i mean.If not, can you recommend me any widget which could provide this future

I have just noticed on my E5 that the time is not displayed. I have the phone on Contacts Bar, and on the shortcut keys its Favourites and Planet, and usually next the right side key the time is displayed.I have looked and looked to see where I can this back but cannot find it.

When I got it the main menu was there and I was able to switch between personal and professional Modi.Then I restored contacts etc from a backup from when it ran 071.014.Now it is impossible to switch btw. pers. and prof. modi. Even when I click the prof. modi it stays "personal".furthermore, the icons on the first page has disappeared, and it is no longer possible to add any in the modi menu, (there is no "data window" in the Program shorcuts entry, so there is no way to add entries).

The light on the keyboard lights up fine but the screen backlight only comes on when I push down hard on a certain part of the screen or give it a good whack. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy E7 is screen is freezing up after a phone call or just after general use. It keeps happening every day. I must force a power rebooot to get the phone working again. I have called Nokia and have exhusted every option which included reloading Bella. Last resort is Nokia want's me to send my phone to Texas for a tech to investagate the problem. I think there is some kind of software problem with the locking of the phone screen and the locking switch logic on the side of the phone. When the problem happens the sceen will not work to my touch. The sceen freezes without touching.

With the almost over-sensitive touch screen interface there is a constant danger of hitting a function by accident, therefore one must have the screen locked at all times. However, it would be important to see the home screen or the running application. I need to see the screen, with or without backlight, not a clock display or blank screen. With S60 this was no problem, that's why I have an E72 for backup and SSH use. The E7 would be a better phone for this, if only it would show the contents of the screen while being screenlocked.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi got my new nokia e5 a couple of days ago, and its been working great, only right now every time i press unlock and then go to use it 5 seconds later it will black out the screen. it doesnt go straight to lockout mode but sometimes it wont let me go back to see mode for 5-8 seconds no matter what button i press.it did it the other night but only for an hour this is persisting.
I now tried to reset to factory defaults but that didnt work either sigh, i geuss its a faulty phone, ill bring it back to the guy, if anyone knows if there is some way to fix it because it is a looong way for me back to the shop

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had a Nokia E7 for about half a year. it worked pretty well until the screen got cracked. It worked fine for a while, then the touch screen stopped responding. I got it fixed and it was working perfectly fine for about 2 weeks. i was using it one day, and it was eprfectly fine. I set the phone aside for a few minutes, then came back to it. I saw the whole screen was showing static, like when your tv has bad reception. i tried turning it off and on again, but it did not clear it up. I tried calling my number, and the phone rang. After about 10 minutes of curses and profanities, it cleared up again. About half an hour later, it became static again. Once again, after about 10 minutes, it cleared up. That night, i plugged the E7 into the charger, and the next morning, it was displaying static once again. i turned it off, intending to go see the shop. When i went, i turned the phone on, and there was no static. When he was checking it over, it went back to static for about 5 seconds, before returning to normal. When i left, i had walked about 50 metres when i reached to my phone to check the time. it was displaying static yet again. This was was about 5 hours ago and it has been displaying static since.

However to set up the pairing on the E5 I need to add a pairing code . Added the code to car system but can`t find anywhere on the E5 to add the pairing code. I have tried using the blue tooth help on the phone which tries to explain but when I try the suggestions I can`t get a screen to add code.
