After I updated to 6.0.0.600, when I want to make a call and im on the middle tab where u see all the calls, when i touch one of the made or receive calls it wont call. I have to push the trackpad or the green button over for the call.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had the N900 for a week now. And after a software update my battery life indicator is acting strange. It would stay on full until the last few minutes when it would crash to about 10% or so and I would get the battery low warnings. Then the phone would shut down a few minutes later.My battery life is about 15 hrs with normal usage.I've installed batterygraph, which shows that battery seems to be behaving properly, i.e a couple of hours of use and its dropped to about 4V from 4.2V, but the strange thing is that it is still showing 100%.Has the update somehow reset what the fully charged voltage should be ?
View 6 Replies View RelatedAbout 3-4 weeks ago...my screen starting acting strange. When I would hover a button (not clicking it...but to make it blue)...other buttons would become blue as well. Or the button I was hovering wouldn't turn blue and another would. When I would actually click the button...say for messages...the browser would start instead. Also...sometimes I would have the browser or gmail app open and after I clicked the BB button to bring up the menu...it would be completely frozen. It's like this periodically...but always occurs after a call...and the phone won't work for a good 1-2 minutes. This became worse and worse. So I finally did a complete reinstall of BB 5.0.0.328. Things were better for a week or so...and then it went downhill again. I haven't dropped my phone or added any new applications in months.
I have Verizon warranty...but if I go in there I have a feeling they are going to tell me that its a software issue and not hardware. I really don't know what it is...I just want the phone to work again.
Its been a while since I posted on here but I woke up this morning to a phone call and while trying to talk to the person on the other end my blackberry kept thinking I was plugging in and unplugging a wired headset making it impossible to communicate. When I actually plugged in my wired headset it worked fine but from then on any calls without the headset have the same issue.
I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I recently updated a ton of system and user apps however the phone was working fine until this morning.I've done a battery pull, blown compressed air into the audio jack itself, I've restored the phone in desktop manager, and I've even taken the phone apart and made sure the contacts for the audio jack weren't obscured but to no avail.Do you think this could be a hardware issue with the jack or is it more likely to be a software issue? I'm thinking hardware considering it works fine with the wired headset in place
My iPhone keeps making the strangest sound... it's completely random, it's not tied to any notification that I can find (and I've been searching...). It is similar to the "Calypso" tone that's built in, but deeper, minor, a bit resonant, more "crap, something's wrong with your phone" sounding. It's an ascending minor third, but not exactly. It happens a few times a day. No pattern to the times. For example, today, it happened around 11:55AM, then around 1:10PM. No emails or texts or notifications happened at those times. Like I said, I've combed through all the notifications and sounds and apps and still haven't found it. I have no way to record it because it happens so randomly.

View 9 Replies View RelatedFirst time it happened my phone was locked sitting in my lap, nothing lite up just made the sound, 15-20min later I plugged it in to charge and it made the sound again. Nothing ever comes up in notifications just bluooop sound! It has also happened while I have been using my iPhone, while in iMessage and other apps! I have checked every app on my iPhone and sound setting I can think of and can't figure out were it is coming from or why!!
View 14 Replies View RelatedI made a software/firmware update for my Nokia N97 last night thru the Nokia Ovi Suit update but for some reason my phone that was region and operator free now it has a Vodafone operator logo when starting up the phone and it has some Vodafone menu elements on it and i cannot understand for what reason the official Nokia firmware which should be operator free contains these elements But however my biggest problem is that i cannot use my phone to make or receive anykind of calls only messaging works.

Sometimes when i answer an incoming call, and i say "hello there", the caller only hears " here", its like there is a 2second gap, but when the 2seconds have passed then evrything is normal again. 2.) This consirnes me: When i unlock the phone (the phone is active), and if i put my ear on the keyboard (near the center of the keyboard) i hear a silent, it sounds like the processor.It is wery silent and you have to listen very good to hear it. View 4 Replies View RelatedNever had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.
When I'm on the phone with someone - anyone, regardless of locaton - I hear intermitent "beeping" sounds on my end of the phone. These are not system sounds or calendar alerts, they sound a little bit like feedback or R2D2 sounds. They come and go but sometimes they are totally annoying. I have asked the people I'm talking to whether or not they can hear the sounds, and they have reported that they can not. I called Verizon and they said they had never heard of this problem before.Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything that can be done about it?

The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. i tried going to settings and change the screen timeouts, displays, etc. and i changed it all to 2 minutes.
