I mean the call is still in progress you can hear it but you can't see anything on the screen. For example, i had to turn the speaker on for the conference, but i couldn't do it because i was not able to see where anything were at.

Dec 19, 2015This is my first HTC and everything was going great. i bought a dot matrix case for it and everything worked great. now sometimes when i make or receive a call the loud speaker activates automatically. it does it most of the time not with every outgoing / incoming call. i have trawled a few forums and people are saying it could be to do with google chrome and to uninstall it but i can't see how or where to uninstall it on the M9. I have taken the dot matrix cover off and it is still doing it.

Aug 22, 2011E6 #1 (made in Finland): had to bring it to repair service because of pathetic battery lifetime and no notification light.Got a new one 2 weeks later:6 #2 (made in Hungary): had to bring it to repair service, as the screen blanked out when making or receiving a call (proximity sensor broken?). Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.

Will HAVE TO look at alternatives, I just can't continue like that.@NOKIA: I really really really wanted to like this phone. Mar 14, 2010The main reason i bought the phone.Was because of a virtually non existent signal on the Orange network.(dropping calls etc).Anyway. To cut a long story short.It will find UMA.But takes an age to lock on.And sometimes when making /receiving calls i get cut off and my router crashes (loses internet connection)!If i go into my wifi settings in my phone (wifi diagnostics). Under UMA it says 'UMA connection failed'.But no 'error' code!!
I have checked my router setings and everything seems ok as it does on my phone.
But this morning i contacted AOL router support and they told me that it will not be the router but an issue with the phone!
While i am typing this.It has just found UMA (after approx 1 hour of trying) but if i make a call or receive one , i will more than likely be cut off.I forgot to mention that i have a 'speedtouch'(thompson) router. And am thinking of asking AOL for a 'Netgear'!Would this help?Although my laptop and xbox 360 run just fine via the speedtouch with no problems whatsoever

Oct 30, 2015So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.

Oct 27, 2011I have an issue with my Motorola photon 4g since I bought it (2 months old now). It may reboots when I am trying to make a phone call. It happens everyday randomly and it is getting worse. If one day I need to make an emergency, I may need to wait a few minutes for it to boot up (lol) before I can use it. I have used Palm treo phone for many year and never have any problem. I went to sprint service center and the sprint technician reset it but it still has the same problem. Oct 22, 2015My Xperia z3 is currently saying "turn your phone off flight mode" before making a call, I don't have a network signal. The wifi is still working (that's how I'm writing this) so the phone isn't actually on flight mode. I've tried rebooting and resetting, turning flight mode on and off loads of times, and nothing.
This has started happening when the phone is switched off, last week it died during the night and this happened, and it just randomly came back on the next night. I switched it off this morning and I've not been able to get it on since.

Nov 8, 2015Both mine and my wife's 6p's are not able to access the internet while a call is in progress. My phone is unlocked & rooted, however my wife's is complete stock so I know that can't be the issue. I've also tried disabling the "enhanced" calling with LTE under cellular networks on both devices and this doesn't fix the issue, either.
After going into my Verizon online and adding the Advanced calling 1.0 feature to my line, then rebooting my phone, and waiting a few minutes, things automatically started working.

May 2, 2012Sometimes when I am making a call or accepting an inbound call, I will try to hit the speakerphone button (because I have a lot of trouble hearing the speakers in regular mode), only to have the screen go blank before I can do so. Sometimes it will come back after a moment and let me use the touchscreen, other times it will stay off for a while.
