Jul 12, 2011
ive had my blackberry 8520 a while now when i 1st got it all the setting blackberry and phone where working then after a few days stoped making and recieving call and same with text every thing else works such as email, instant messaging, internet i am on pay as you go so when my booster ran out i topped up again while the booster takes a couple of hours to come back on the phone service worked again and i could call out and recieve calls the same with text when the booter came back on the phone service not long work and ive been stuck tryin to get help the phone shops dntno they say contact blackberry.
I am a total tech dummy and can't figure out what happened. I just stopping receiving and being able to send e-mails. Phone and texts still work fine. I have a signal.Only things I tried was turning it off and then on. Also took out and replace battery.
I seem not to understand but my blackberry 8520 device has stopped receiving email messages and I ve tried setting up another one yet its still not working. Username and password incorrect is what I always get as reply. Please can anyone help me out cos am seriously worried about this.
I have a xperia x10 mini which was all working fine until i tried to download an application/game. It didnt download so i cancelled the download then noticed that the phone wouldnt make or receive calls or texts. If i try to make a call, it comes up "call ended" almost immediately.
I was wondering if there's any option that allow you to send a message to someone who actually is calling you, like when you're in a meeting and you get a phone call but you can't answer but instead send a default message right away like "call me back later". Is this possible?
It's my 3rd time of this problem 1 time I took assistance of nokia care center but but they couldn't permanently solve it 2nd time I tried Google the problem and it says to restart if nothing happens restore it, this worked that time, but now the device doesn't responding any of this.
I have strange problem with nokia 5530.Its just switches off when making/recieving a call.I read nokia discussion of Europe and USA. there are number users who have same problems i have it now.I've gone to nokia care and hope they can give me a perfect solutions. As i have read all the posts about this problem , I am bit worried whether my mobile will be repaired or not.
My friend tried to call me a couple of time today, but every time I hit the answer button the phone turned itself. I wasn't able to call her either,On the screen where the connectivity shows, it shows me the sign for connectivity and an E.I couldn't find anything in the manual or online.
recently my phone can't hear anything during calls but when i put it on speaker it works fine. i can play music and stuff it's just during calls. is there something that I can do?
I tried it with a pair of headphones and I was able to hear who I called but the other person just heard background noise. I see people outside wear headphones while making calls.
This is my first HTC and everything was going great. i bought a dot matrix case for it and everything worked great. now sometimes when i make or receive a call the loud speaker activates automatically. it does it most of the time not with every outgoing / incoming call. i have trawled a few forums and people are saying it could be to do with google chrome and to uninstall it but i can't see how or where to uninstall it on the M9. I have taken the dot matrix cover off and it is still doing it.
Sometimes I cannot hear the voice after making or receiving call. However, it resumed to normal after restoring IOS, how can I fix this problem permanently? I am using iphone4 with IOS 5.1
E6 #1 (made in Finland): had to bring it to repair service because of pathetic battery lifetime and no notification light.Got a new one 2 weeks later:6 #2 (made in Hungary): had to bring it to repair service, as the screen blanked out when making or receiving a call (proximity sensor broken?). Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.
- screen blanks out when making or receiving a call. SAME ISSUE as on the Hungarian version! Will bring it back to Nokia repair tomorrow. Will HAVE TO look at alternatives, I just can't continue like that.@NOKIA: I really really really wanted to like this phone. But the design failures that you made (notification, vibration, battery) and your quality control are just PATHETIC, MISERABLE, ANNOYING. I don't have words. Where has this great company gone?.S. will have to downgrade my positive Amazon rating tonight significantly. I can no longer recommend anyone to buy this phone.y Nokia history:2110->8110->6110->6150->8210->8850->6310i->8910->6600->6230->6260->3230->E60->E50->E65->E71->E55->E72->N97mini->C7->E6->X7->E6->?
When making or receiving a call I cannot be heard although I can hear the other person. Is this a problem that is fixable or a sign that it's time for a new phone?
Got a pearl 8100 here. It just stopped making calls. It rarely does, and if it does, it will drop during the call.I loaded the latest OS on it still the same problem. Tried SIM card in another phone in the same spot and it works. The pearl does get full signal and EDGE. Could this be a hardware problem? The antenna, maybe?
The main reason i bought the phone. Was because of a virtually non existent signal on the Orange network.(dropping calls etc).Anyway. To cut a long story short. It will find UMA.But takes an age to lock on.And sometimes when making /receiving calls i get cut off and my router crashes (loses internet connection)! If i go into my wifi settings in my phone (wifi diagnostics). Under UMA it says 'UMA connection failed'.But no 'error' code!!
I have checked my router setings and everything seems ok as it does on my phone. But this morning i contacted AOL router support and they told me that it will not be the router but an issue with the phone!
While i am typing this.It has just found UMA (after approx 1 hour of trying) but if i make a call or receive one , i will more than likely be cut off.I forgot to mention that i have a 'speedtouch'(thompson) router. And am thinking of asking AOL for a 'Netgear'!Would this help?Although my laptop and xbox 360 run just fine via the speedtouch with no problems whatsoever
i have recently purchased the blackberry curve 8520 on pay as you go, and i can not make or recieve calls, failed call pops up, also i can not setup my email address
I just got a BB 8520 CURVE.i had pals ask me if i got their text messsages but i never did.in fact,i have never got a text since i began using this 8520.
When making or receiving calls, during the first 5-10 secs. of call i get this weird tone in the ear piece. It's like the tone if you have a call waiting, but the thing is there is no other call. It's getting pretty annoying because it does this on every call. The wife's phone does the samething. We do have the latest update on the 8530.
when i try to place a call, the phone keeps jumping back and forth between the handset and the headset, but there is no headset attached to it, speaker phone does not work either, the little icon that shows the phone with two arrows or a headset keeps changing back and forth, it was working earlier today and then all of a sudden started doing this.
How do you turn off the LED light when making a call? I can seem to control the LED for incoming calls, texts, emails etc and also for coverage but can't seem to find an option to turn off LED when "making" calls
I just came from a 8330 which I had had for well over a year and a half. I figured I would love this new Curve, but each day I have it, I want my old curve back. Here's why: The 8530 keyboard is slightly narrower making one handed operation more difficult if not impossible, add thAt to much stiffer key clicks and that is a combination that leads to slower responses and cramped thumbs..............
