Cseries :: C7 Blank Screen For Incoming Calls
Sep 10, 2011its since about a month since I boght C7.It worked fine until i got this glitch.
The screen just goes blank sometimes when a call is incoming .I am not able to use the touch screen to attend the call and instead I have to use the push button below.
I tried switching off and on again, and also removing the battery and replacing it, but without success.for once or twice after restarting it may work fine but again it happens. could it be software problem or any interference from any apps that i downloaded?

Feb 28, 2012I have a Nokia C2-O2, which I have just bought. The screen goes blank within a few seconds if I am not using the phone. Since the phone is protected with a security code, this means I have to key in the code every time the screen goes blank. Can i extend the time before the screen goes blank? Failing that, can I configure the phone so that the code does not have to be keyed in every time the screen goes blank? Apart, that is, from de-activating the security lock, which i do not want to do.

May 6, 2011I recently noticed that my Torch 9800 (OS 6 bundle 695) screen goes blank and becomes inactive during calls. I assumed this was as a result of mistakenly clicking "clear who is it blinking" on the home screen menu, however, I've since been unable to re-enable it.Consequently, whenever I either make a call or pick up an incoming call, the screen goes blank and becomes inactive. Also when I have an incoming call waiting, I'ld hear the beeps but won't be able to see who is calling.In summary, whenever I'm on a call, I'm unable to see or do anything else with my phone until the call is over.

Sep 12, 2012I have just noticed that when I start to make a call on my 701 the screen goes blank when it starts to dial so you don't no if its dialling or shut down especially if it wait a long time to connect and you have no dialling tone. Feb 21, 2015I love my G3 and have had no negative issues with the new Android, except for this one. When I receive a call, the bottom half of the screen is blank/black. I'm able to answer and end a call only because I know where the icons are, they still work but I just can't see them. Upon ending the call, the whole screen comes back. It's only on incoming calls that I've had this issue (although, I don't use too many apps so don't know if it's occurring elsewhere). I do not root my devices.

Its completely turn dark and i have to wait until the other party hang off the phone.Specially when i mistakenly make a call i have no control on phone to cancel it because of automatically screen lock and same problem when making a call and converts into voice mail.

Jan 2, 2012Im a new user, just got the SE XPERIA RAY yesterday, the phone has a great feature of locking the screen during a call (whether initiated or received) until the user clicks the home button. however upon receiving calls the screen locks (black screen), the home button doesnt unlock the screen and it stays that was after the call ends, until it restarts or i remove the battery. i removed the battery, sim and SD card. I updated the software then made a master reset, nothing works... should i replace the phone? or is there something else to try?

I have been able to isolate this down to only happening when they send me an "iMessage" but I don`t understand why I keep getting them? Apr 17, 2010I recently upgraded my wife's OS on her VZW Tour to the latest official release. Since then she has been having problems with her work email.
She is on BIS but has her blackberry account set up with her company's Exchange server. Until the upgrade everything was fine. Now, however, most if not all of her work emails are arriving blank. All her other email accounts come through fine. If she forwards the work emails to another account they read fine. If she even forwards the work email back to her blackberry from the same email account the text of the email will appear as well. These are all internal emails within the company. Not HTML based. Text and possibly an attachment (attachments show up fine). I have checked her settings and nothing has changed. I am curious as to whether or not her employers email server may not be compatible with the new OS.
I am a little perplexed and cannot figure out what the deal is.

Cseries :: C7 Went Completely Blank After Installing Belle?
Mar 17, 2012Yesterday night I was trying to install Nokia Belle on my C7 through Nokia suite. However, in between the installation process, my Nokia C7 went black and the installation could not be completed.
Since then my phone is blank. Now, when I hold the power button, the phone vibrates but does not start. The white charging light on the top blinks for sometime and then stops and nothing happens.
I believe it is a software problem as the phone is not starting even after charging my battery thru an external charger.
The original software was Symbian O3. Can I do a hardware reset? I can live if the phone data is lost.

Jul 18, 2015I have the Xperia Z3 from Tmo and when I see my contacts I see the pictures on them but when I call them or they call me I get the blank default picture for them during the call. I have verify I dont have multiples contacts of the same or multi pictures. I reset the phone and in the first sync everithing was OK but after like one hour again the same probpem. I reset it and installed all apps one by one to see if one of them was giving me the error but everithing was OK after I intall them and after some hours again the same thing. I like this phone and I dont whant to go back to ios.

Jun 17, 2012All of a sudden while on phone calls, in the phone app itself if I try to tap the red END CALL button or hit the keypad button for automated service, the screen goes blank. I have to hit the menu button to bring the screen back up and try again. Can take 7-8 times until it goes through. What can I do? This problem just started. Also if I use Siri and try to hit the mic after I speak the screen will shut off the same way and I'll have to do the menu thing over and over again. There are absolutely no other touchscreen problems other then these and I use many apps and play several games.

Jul 20, 2012I have a c3-01 and it will not receive any text message you send it. I have checked the message center number and all the settings and it all seems fine. I have also tried to do a full factory reset but it wont complete.

When I call it just says their is no service at this number. I know I have service because I can send texts to other people and call other people. My phone is a Nokia C3 also.
