I reviewed the similar threads and haven't seen any resolutions...I am receiving blank emails on my blackberry (AT&T 8900) - it is sporadic and I can't seem to find a pattern to it. I use two email addresses, I pop them both to the 'berry as well as to outlook. The messages appear fine in outlook and are fine on webmail.
I have deleted and resent service books, I did a master reset - wiped the handheld. I am still getting the blank emails.I thought it might be an HTML issue, but I am getting some messages sent in html...
I am having trouble receiving and keeping emails. BT yahoo is my main web mail address, although I now open everything in windows mail, but my blackberry is not receiving anything at the moment. This has been an on going problem and I don't know where the fault lies, sometimes I receive emails, but then they disappear once opened, or I don't receive them at all!
I recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."
I have recently had to reformat my 8900 and for some reason after setting up my gmail account i an receiving one copy of each email in my gmail folder and also recieving another copy of the same email in my messages folder. this means that i really am recieving 1 in the email folder and 2copies of the same email in the messages folder. i am using BIS and have tried deleting and re-adding the email account and also resending the service books. i tried looking around but couldn't see the same problem which makes me think it's something simple I'm missing. it's nothing to do with sent messages which i have no problems with.
I just updated my BB and am now having email issues. It appears the update removed the "redirector" from my computer, so I am not receiving emails to my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I can't find anything on the BB website to help.
today I very stupidly unistalled Pandora on my phone, and after that my phone completely crashed. My screen just turns white and I can't do anything with it. I already tried taking out the battery for a while, turning it on and off, and soft restting it. Nothing works! What should I do?
I purchased my blackberry 8900 in December 2010 in a small island. I went back to jamaica two weeks after it went completely blank (Screen whites out). When its blank I cant do anything with it even after several battery pulls. Sometimes when i pull the battery it loads up and then goes back blank.
In order for it to come up I have to connect the charger and the screen stays on. (lol.i thought this was suppose to be a mobile phone) It cant stay up with out the charger being connected.I have no warranty on the phone.
Since updating to 2.3.3 ive had nothing but trouble, music problems, cant change ringtone, text message alerts , havent even got the option in settings to master reset to start from scratch, Im getting to the end of my tether with this phone

My Curve 8900 shut down over the weekend. It won't come back on. It goes off and when I press the power button, the red light comes one, the backlit screen with the hourglass comes on and then it goes off again. A little while later, it starts the cycle over again, backlit blank screen, hourglass spins, bb shuts off.
This morning I try to send a email and my E72 freeze, I turned off and turned on again, my E72 only show me the menu of applications but no make a call, later I make a master reset from configuration menu, and my E72 no boot and only show me a white screen. How to recover the E72? I have the last firmware 31.XX.
If I am to do a master reset wherein it will delete my emails, contacts, messages, third party apps and memory card data and restore my blackberry to factory settings, will it also change my phone from being unlocked to a locked phone again?
I followed the Wiki to add corrected service books and updated to the latest firmware and it worked okay for a while with enabled MMS. I noticed that the only native browser was labeled "Hotspot Browser" but the 7520 doesn't have Wifi and the browser didn't seem to work. I could live with that, but...
A couple days ago, data stopped working with "Nxtl" by the signal meter, which had all 4 bars.I called Boost Mobile CS and they told me to do a battery pull, then a master radio reset; no dice.It won't recognize my password, which was correct and had done the MRR before. Even when I disabled the PW, it didn't work.
I just jailbreak and unlocked then I went to do a master reset and delete everything now it is stuck at the apple booting screen, and sometimes I get a little loading circle. Itunes wont recognize it.
Im new to the blackberry and have looked around other forums & technical centre and havn't found any way to solve my issues although i did find something about caller id problems.
1) When people send me long SMS i.e over 160 characters long i keep recieving them in separate SMS and it becomes very confusing.i have owned over 7 different phones in the past and this has never been a problem. Is there any way to solve this?
2) Quite often when someone calls me, i only seem to be able to see the callers number and not the Name, this is frustating as i have no idea who is ringing.
I have a Nokia nuron 5230. After a master reset can you recover the apps you had installed before? The memory card still shows the same free space, so the apps are still there somewhere, I jsut can't find them through the file organizer yet
I've been having some difficulty in sending sms messages lately. most of the time i get the messages sending/operation failed. at first i tried to turn it off and take out the battery. it worked the first few times but now nothing i did worked. then i tried using the master reset which supposedly takes only a few minutes but for some reason it's taken a really long time.
I have a Curve 8900 running v4.6.1.231...I am on an Enterprise Data plan, with emails synched up to both my office outlook email, and my personal yahoo email. At around 11:30 yesterday, my yahoo email stopped sending/receiving/synching with my BB, but my office outlook email is working fine.
I tried to go into Email setup with the setup wizard, to see if maybe I had to delete and re-add my yahoo email account, but after about 60 seconds with a load message "connecting to email settings" I got a message that said "Your devide had a problem connecting to the server" with retry and cancel button - I retried with no avail. Not the most tech savvy person here, but was wondering if this is a problem on my end? Or something on the BB side?
For the last two weeks my curve is showing I have 6 unread email messages yet I have none.I searched the forum and it's not call logging as I had that turned off.Anybody have an idea what's causing this? I have double checked all my email accounts all to know avail.
Is there a way to really reset the BB to the factory settings?I am running 5.0x firmware, and the Options/ Security Options/ General Settings/ Menu/ Wipe Handheld function is not present anymore! (I saw it when I had 4.6.x..)So I tried this (from Mac, as on XP I can't locate the loader.exe file): http://www.blackberry.com /btsc/ search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB18998 but it actually did not really clean my BB, it kept for example all the apps I installed which are the reason why I would like to reset the BB! it also kept the 5.0.x firmware, while when I got the BB it had the 4.6.x firmware. I really would like to go back to the original status. any suggestions?
As of recently, whenever I'm typing an email on my computer - emails will be sent to my BB as I type... so I get about 10-30 messages per email I type! It's getting so annoying!
I am looking for some help with one of our customer's phones. They have a Blackberry 8900 on T-Mobile and are unable to reply to certain emails. Recently, their email accounts were reset, due to a configuration error on T-Mobile's end. When we set her email accounts back up, her old emails are stored on the device in the messages folder but she is unable to reply to anything prior to the accounts getting messed up. New emails sent to her device are not a problem, those reply just fine and she is able to forward the old messages, just not reply to them.
She is running the latest device software for the 8900, I believe 4.5, we have resent service books and spoken in depth with T-Mobile's technical care department. No one seems to know how we can get this corrected so she can reply to her old emails.
For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here? p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
My old BB 9300 became faulty so i returned & recieved new BB 9300 yesterday. I set up my email (hotmail) and recieved notification that it was regiesterd but no emails have arrived but my inbox has 23. I can send email from BB
After initial setup, I'm able to receive SOME, but not all, e-mails on my BB Curve 8530. The others not received on my BB DO appear in Outlook 2007. I can't seem to identify any difference between those e-mails I receive on the BB and those I don't. On the recommendation of my web hosting company, I'm using their IMAP server. POP3 remains an option too. I have completed the registration and reconciliation processes. I've consulted with my web hosting company, and with both Verizon Wireless and RIM;
After setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
