Galaxy S6 :: Calls Answering Or Rejecting Automatically
May 15, 2015
When ever i receive a call its get automatically answered Or rejected.its really annoying. This also happens when i hold the phone in myhand and someone calls it gets answered or rejected. Is there any app to turn off screen by sensing its in pocket or to avoid to accidental pocket touch. Before galaxy s6 i used xiaomi redmi1s and it will only turn on the screen when we have taken out the phone from the pocket While receiving a call.
constantly hit either reject or answer by accident all the time? It's supposed to be a slide to answer, slide to reject option but it reacts simply to just touching either button. I previously had a moto x and that you had to actually slide to answer or reject and it wouldn't react to simply touching the button.
My S5 has been answering calls automatically. My phone rings once then the call is picked up without me touching the phone. It's terrible. When the phone answer's you can't hear the caller. And on the other end (if you're calling me) it still rings and then goes to vm. I did have the auto answer setting on before when you wave your hand over it. I thought that was it so I turned it off but it's still messed up. I'm stock on 4.4.4
I want to be able to open my flip top when on incoming calls without it automatically answering the call. My external screen is broken so I can't see who is calling. Can I open phone and check call and then press to answer?
All of a sudden I cannot hear anything when making calls and I cannot hear anything when answering calls?? It rings both ways but when I answer I don't hear the other party and they cannot hear me. When i call someone I don't hear it ringing even though it say calling, then connected.
I don't know what happens, but know I only can answer calls with the headset on.Eventhough headset is not plug, the phone acts like if it was. The headset icon always appears in the screen. I just tried to restart the phone. I took the battery off and when the phone restart the icon is not there, as soon as I plug the headset, the icon appears and it continues there til I turn off the phone and start everything again.
with growing trend my 800 is picking calls by itself. E.g. I'm in a meeting, phone is on a desk, normal profile (ringtone). Suddenly I see the blank screen lighting up and call coming, the phone does play ringtone and the call is automaticly answered -> I can see "end call" button, if I try to speak to the phone the other person hears my voice "beyond grave", but I hear nothing.
My Bold 9700 has been answering calls by itself sometimes. A call will come in and it will automatically answer, but only once in a while. I do not have it set to auto answer. This problem continues until a battery pull is done. Once I pull the battery it works fine again for a while but it will happen again after about a day of working fine. Another problem is that the phone tends to reboot itself very often. After being on the phone for a while it will restart itself, sometimes in the middle of a call. I have called tmobile's blackberry support multiple times and they are no help. I have wiped the device from my blackberry. I have also redone the handheld software and used the application loader to do it. I have no idea why this problem is occuring!! Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?
i have a rumor touch on virgin mobile and when i slide to answer a call it hangs up right away! I don't know what to do.I bought this from best buy a couple months ago but didnt really notice because i never make phone calls. i still have the receipt and some bubble packaging.
Is there a way to answer incoming calls and putting them on loudspeaker easily while using the Navigation? The idea is to use the phone as handsfree as possible while driving.
I've had an E72 for around three months, there are a few bugs etc some of which I've not experienced like others in the threads here. Generally I'm quite happy with the phone. I did however experience a problem yesterday where my phone (without my knowledge) was not taking incoming calls. I had a meeting with somebody who said that they'd tried to call my several times.
When we met he tried again and the phone did not ring and worse still the answering machine did not cut in. My phone was showing a full signal. I switched off the phone, removed the battery for a moment and then switched back on and it was fine? As a business user, this is very worrying. How many calls did I miss for the morning? Has anybody else experienced this? I had been using the OVI Navigation that morning?
Phone rings, you take out of your pocket to answer and the screen goes blank !!! You can't see the green answer call button! I thought this might be because of the power saving mode, but disabled that and I'm still having the same problem.
when ever i answer a call ..volume seems to be very low., my volume is set high.. there is no cover in-front of speaker..i always need to turn my speaker ON or need to put my headphone to hear.
My galaxy s5 got some water damage I think because since then when I go to make a call or accept a call it automatically freezes and restarts. Also the speaker does not work from the damage. Can I not take calls because the speaker doesn't work?
When my BlueParrott Xpressway headset is connected to my Bionic and I answer a call using my headset, 50% of the time I get a loud blast of static that lasts anywhere from 4-10 seconds. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.
When i get an incoming call the answer bar is locked and i have to revert to using the green button how do i unlock the touch answer bar 50.0.05 is **bleep**
I have the i9100 for over a month and already issues occur. One of them, the least annoying, is that when I answer the call and take the phone to the ear, I hear a click sound, something like a relay click when it closes.
My phone started rejecting its password on the 21 September 2012 and ended up wiping everything in my phone. I reset the password and started from the beginning as i had lost all my BBM contacts and phone contacts( everything). So it have started again its rejecting the password i cannot afford to lose everything once again
If there are any links to best solutions, that would be helpful. I have service with AT&T, but they pointed me directly to Apple. I've had it for over a year, so Apple's online support says it's out of support. It's usable as-is, but my mother and sister are not happy with being called by my phone automagically at 4 in the morning here and there. And I'd hate to have to turn it off every night, but it does this throughout the day; I just cancel the call when I see it happening.
I've had my shiny Galaxy S6 for nearly three weeks now. I bought it SIM free. Really loving the phone, but I've noticed that when I try to answer a call, the phone hangs-up instead. I have good signal and I can ring the person back immediately. At first I thought I was hanging up with my cheek, but it happened when I was in slow traffic in my car yesterday. The phone was sat in a mount, connected to Bluetooth. I used the car's controls to answer and had the same issue.
I've spoken to people who call me, and they say the call just ends with a beep, it doesn't go to voice mail. I've tested calling my S6 from another mobile and a land line and the problem happens every time.
If I tap reject, the call is sent to voice mail, so I'm not pressing the wrong button.
I've tried:
-Enabling/disabling single tap mode -Enabling home key to answer calls -Wiping the phone's cache partition using the Android system recovery menu -Using a Bluetooth headset to answer calls -Uninstalling Three InTouch, my network's Wi-Fi call app (I can answer calls if they come through this app)
I'm in the UK. Phone is SM-G920F ZKABTU, baseband G920FXXU1AOE3, CSC version G920FBTU1AODQ. I haven't rooted it.
