Jun 25, 2010I had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?

Jul 16, 2012My Blackberry Bold 9900 running software version 7.1.0.523.When I get phone calls from certain private numbers, if I make an outgoing phone call the number on my display will switch to "private number" and not be logged in the call log. The only way to fix this is when a non-private number phone call is received or to take out the sim and put it back in again.I have replaced SIM, wiped and reloaded OS, but still experiencing the same issues.

Jun 30, 2014My iPhone 4 which is appx 4 years old with latest iOS has developed this problem last week. After a hello on connecting a call with anyone, it just goes blank. Neither am I able to hear any voice from the other side nor the person on the other side is able to hear me. I hVe to disconnect the call and use SMS or whatsapp. Is there anything I can do to correct it?

Jun 30, 2010I have read about this on this forum and others. I cant find a definitive answer. I have three contacts that are also in my ICE (in case of emergency) contact. They are my wife, my mom, and my parent's house.
When my wife calls I just see her number and her photo on the caller id. - No ICE.
When either my parents home or mom call I get ICE and MOM, but no photo. I have searched through all the ways I listed these contacts and cannot figure out how I got my wife's to "work". I want a way to tell the phone to not display the caller id from ICE.

Feb 26, 2010I have this weird problem on my 3GS. This is what happens:
1. Someone calls me from number not in my contacts.
2. I go to my "recents" and click the arrow, and then "create new contact".
3. I type a name (Lyle) and click "save".
4. In "recents" the number now shows up as "Lyle", everything seems ok.
5. In the "contacts app" Lyle does not exist. Therefore also does not sync with mobileme.
If I add a contact in the contact app itself, everything works fine.

Nov 7, 2011Every so often on my N8, I get a call from "someone". All I see is the phone number, with no indication of who it's from. Then I find out it's from someone who should have already been listed in my contacts.
Is there any way to search through contacts by phone number? At least that way I'd know who the call was from, before calling back.
Also, is there anything to do (or not to do) that will minimize this problem? I have multiple phone numbers and email addresses for several people, but I didn't think that would create an issue.

I'd really like it to announce the caller id, is there not an app for this? i'm aware of the garageband trick but i'd rather this only work when the headphones are connected.

Apr 19, 2012I just replaced the LCD and the screen on my iphone 3G. It's all back together and working great - except there is no sound from the phone speaker. I can hear it ring and I can listen to messages. And the caller can hear me. But I can't hear the caller. My guess is this has to do with connection no. 3 because I had some trouble getting that one back in and may have damaged it. I've taken it apart and re-tried several times. When I flip the clamp the male end is secured. But it has never felt to me like I got the male end all the way seated back in the female end.

May 22, 2012I just bought a 4S for my wife and when she sends me a text in iMessage it comes up with her email in the caller id. On my iPhone 4 I can go to settings/messages/receive at/caller id and select number or email. On the 4S under settings/messages there is no 'receive at' option. Any other places to go and make the change?
