When moving away the lock screen.. my apps and everything on the screen looks very out of color and blurry. But it will go back to normal in maybe 2 too 10 seconds.It's been happening frequently and was wondering if it has happened to anybody else and if there's a way to fix it.

I just got myself lumia900 and i found that my lumia screen at the bottom corner left part have the color changes a bit instead of having full black color background... As if the screen is leaking..Dont think its normal, but anyone has the same experience??

Is this a defect or something I have to deal with due to the flaw in AMOLED screens?

So all of the pre-installed lock screen wallpapers come up in full color when you unlock the device. Now when I set up my own lock screen wallpaper it basically fades to the background and is very dark and almost black. The clock and camera, phone icons are bright like normal. Is this the way it's suppose to be? Do I maybe need to move the wallpaper I want to use to where the lock screen wallpapers are?

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy screen froze on my 1020. None of the "screen" buttons would work but the physical side buttons would. I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.

I know that these apps are possible, some apps on marketplace have their own screenshot feature. On developer unlocked phones they can lock screen orientation.

I need a solution for showing the Artist Image of an Mp3 file on the lock screen!
I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.
All my other live tiles:Exchange (main inbox)HotmailLinked Inbox (8 services, including other GMail accounts)SMSAre reporting new messages on the lock screen, but a live tile for another single GMail account is not. Any clue as to why that 's the case? I already tried removing and re-adding the account.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to set up my 5800 to work in the car as a music/navigation/handsfree device. I created a Car profile with ring volumes and other stuff set up just the way I want it. However, I cannot make the screen not to timeout and turn off. Basically, the automatic screen lock is deactivated and shouldn't get into way. When I plug the aux cable into the phone I select the Music Stand accessory which is the only one that has a Screen control setting. It is set to On, from the default Automatic. However, the screen goes black anyway, but the buttons stay lit.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently made the switch back to android from an iPhone after quite a few years and I'm trying to re-familiarize myself with android's operating system and work out what I need to change and using this phone I noticed the notifications lacking, so I set up DashClock and DashNotifier and so far I love it. It does exactly what I want it to do for all the apps I have set up with it except for the notifications coming through the 'Messages' app on the phone for text messages.
When receiving a text message my lock screen ignores that I've set up DashClock as my default lock screen and pulls up the original lock screen with the quite ugly 'New Message' notification (as seen in the attached picture). If I scroll to the right DashClock is open and showing the message notification just fine. I've tried to disable the lock screen notifications for the 'Messages' app but haven't been successful in removing it. Is there a way to just have the 'Messages' app give lock screen notifications on the top bar and none like in the image below, or is there a work around within DashClock/DashNotifier or some other application that would fix this? My phone is running Android 4.4.2.
Just after some advice i gather there are quite a few apps that change your lock screen to show a variety of information, and just wondered what the best was.
I would like it to be free, and calendar information is a must.
And whilst i'm here are there any apps that would enable you to add a bit more to the calendar reminders - when they pop up on the lock screen I would really like a snooze for 15 minute option!

I just buy a brand new n8 today. I notice the difference in screen color tone. My nokia n8 screen color just show reddest color. And also it looks like it working in 16 bit color. It mostly noticeable when playing tron trailer. The black and grey color just look reddest. And the contrast seems set to very low. My old one, did not get this error.the color was so vivid.and the contrast was very good. The screen was so amazing, compare to mine.

The problem I am having is moving the panels around. It says at the bottom of he screen it says to 'drag panels to move' but when I try to do this it just moves the screen around.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Lumia 950 and there is no longer an option to Never show the lock screen. The only reason I want to temporarily disable the Lock screen is because Groove is so stupid that it only adds music to its library while the screen is on. If you have a large music collection it can take hours so it would be nice to just let it start at night and let it get it done rather than have to babysit it and touch the screen every 5 minutes. Obviosuly there is no standard way to turn off the lock screen.. I'm just hoping maybe there is an app out there or something that is capable of preventing it from coming on.

View 20 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app that can show the current temp on lock screen. Apps like lock temp or 4cstr doesn't show the negative temperature correctly. It can only show temp between 0 and 100.
For example here it's -12 Celsius right now and it shoes that as 88. That's not what I want
