Part of the screen on my HTC Desire has turned pink. It is in the top right hand corner of the screen and looks like a semi-cicle (shown in the image). Has anyone else had this issue or know what is wrong? I am not sure whether I have an AMOLED or SLCD version of the phone screen.
View 2 RepliesWell, 2 days ago my screen had developed a small black semi-circle with almost entire screen covered in light transparent brown semi-circle. Now with a day of little use, the entire screen has turned bluish. I can hardly see anything today.

My Lumia 1520 has a permanent discolouration in the lower right hand corner. There's a rusty purple blotch about the size of a pinky finger nail clipping about a cm above and half cm to the left of the menu ellipsis.
This blotch is ONLY VISIBLE ON BLACK BACKGROUNDS. When the screen is white or any other colour, the blotch doesn't appear.
I can see two lights at the edge of the screen (one above and one below the discolouration.)
This is strange because all the overheating issues are localized around the top left hand corner of the screen to the left of the camera lens. I assume the processor is in that region.
I have one problem with my desire. Problem is - if I activate alarm and in the meantime I've got sms or any other notification (missed call,...), when alarm starts, it can't be turned off. I need to turn off phone or activate alarm on one minute ahead, and wait to turn off. I have android 2.2 on my desire
View 4 Replies View Relatedmy phone has been working for the past year fine, today i was walking and recieved a message, i slid the phone up to type my password in and the screen went multicoloured and froze, i then took the battery out and waited 15 - 20 seconds before re-inserting the batter and left it to power up, once it powered up i slid it up again and the screen is still not right, i have done a 'master reset' to see if anything changes and it is still the same..

However a few days ago I unlocked my phone to make a call and the screen was just completely not working! Its a white screen with pink lines going vertically. I dont have insurance. So who is it that I contact to get it fixed..? I was told in the Orange phone shop that Blackerry Ltd have a 2 year warranty on there phones. Im just stuck to as who can fix my phone!

past one week my E75 screen has decided to start playing up. The light on the keyboard lights up fine but the screen backlight only comes on when I push down hard on a certain part of the screen or give it a good whack. Anyone experienced this before and know how I might be able to fix it?

I can still switch it on, and it seems to work fine apart from the screen. I dropped my iPhone, cracked the screen and LCD, replaced both, as well as the inner plastic bezel holding them together. Now, the LCD doesnt turn on and the touch screen will not respond. The backlight wont even turn on .It is still on, responds when I plug it into USB, it still vibrates and has its files and will be picked up by iTunes, but the screen is black with no display, no backlight and as far as I can tell the touchscreen is not working.And the kicker is that it was working for a few seconds, when I first put everything together, I just took it apart to get the home button to be seated properly, and bam, all of a sudden everything stops working.Frustrating indeed ! Would anyone be able to help me out please ? I am sick that it seems I will have to buy another part, but, if it will fix it then it's worth it !
