When the clocks went forward my locked screen updated but my home screen clock hasent? If I go on time and date it just changes the time on the locked screen so the 2 clocks are an hour different.

I may make a fool of my self (I have the e72 for only one day) but I have a problem with the clock, I the home screen I have the big clock in the upper left corner and a small one down in the right near the camera shortcut, I may activate my self, but know I don't know how to deactivate the little one in the right.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust brought a new Nokia X6 for my wife and I have an odd problem.I can start the music player from the home screen and skip forward and backwards a track with no problems. But I can't adjust the volume.If I start playing music from the home screen and it's too loud or quiet, I have to open the music player itself before I can change the volume.This seems very odd to me, and I have googled it and looked all the way through the forums here for the X6 and no one else has mentioned it. Does that mean it's only me having this trouble? Or does everyone else not use the music player from the home screen?
Also, I noticed that I cant fast forward and rewind a track from the home screen. If I hold my finger on the Foward button for an extended period of time, the track continues playing as normal and then ether skips to the next one when I take my finger off, or all the player buttons disapear from the home screen when I take my finger off.Again, if I do this in the music player itself, the track will fast forward or rewind after a second or two holding the 'button' down. Anyone else tried this?
Exactly what it says, the clock dissapears from the home screen, apparently, randomly.Unlocked, brand new (with 2 or 3 weeks of use), X6 16 GB with the latest firmware v32.0.002 in Portugal, using a Vodafone SIM. Don't know if it happened also on the previous firmware because, as i sayd it, the fone is new and i also noticed that just a few days ago after updating the firmware.

Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using my Nokia C5-00 for about a year now without any problems. Recently however, it started to show wrong time (like it was going too fast). The offset is usually about 15-30 minutes forward. Initially I thought that its just few seconds per minute faster than it should be (like a normal mechanism watch) and I tried to explain it with processor clock being somehow off, but I noticed that it must at one point just skip these several minutes.
I've never spotted this "skipping" explicitly but it happens once per 10-15 hours, I guess. E.g. it shows proper time the whole day and when I go to sleep but next morning its off several minutes. It happens both with automatic time update On and Off. I haven't updated my software for a couple of months now, but the one I got is up to date (according to Ovi).
I love the bedside mode of the Storm 2, especially with the dock I recently purchased. The only problem is, I like the room dark as possible and even with the phone in bedside mode when charging, and the setting check to dim the clock, it's still far to bright.
Is there a way of having clock on, but have the screen go off with the usual setting to black the screen after say 30 seconds or whatever I choose for the backlighting time out, then have the screen come on if I reach over and touch the screen to display the clock, then letting the backlighting go off again after the preset time?
This would make the setup perfect for me, allowing me to use the Storm 2 as a bedside clock without having to have the display on all the time, but being able to turn it on for a short period of time as needed. If this is possible, can somebody post the settings needed
I'm using Nova Launcher. Whenever I exit my applications with the home button, it directs me to the homescreen selection/dial (not sure what the appropriate name is). . :/

After unblocking N79 keyboard, sometimes clock is slow, even for good 30 minutes late. This glitch is year old, and keeps going from fw to fw, it even exists in newest v 32 fw. Does anybody in Nokia use N79?It was once fixed (in v 11, with which i bought my phone) but later it appeared again.

I have a quick question. Now we have finally paid themes available here in Germany, have noticed many themes have the lock screen clock centered..... but for the life of me I cant figure it out. When I install a new theme the clock always ends up on the left hand side... have looked everywhere, xposed modes, googled and of course searched here on xda.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSeems like when I wake up the phone, it takes a second for the clock to change to the correct time. Phone is locked, pressing the power button unlocks the display and the time stamp is from when the phone was locked, a second later the correct time changes.I've tried clearing cache on the following services, but the issue is still there. If i lock the phone and unlock it within a few minutes the time is synch fine and there is no delay. If i leave the phone locked for more than 5 minutes than the delay is noticeable.

Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The left portion of the image is the unlocked state; as you can see the notifications show up in the upper left corner of the screen. The right portion is the locked screen, which hides the notifications previously shown. The notifications used to show in both of the screens but after a recent OS update they stopped showing.
