Nokia :: N79 Clock Not Updated When Keyboard Is Locked Automatically

I have updated my nokia n97 a month ago to version 32.001. Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

While my n8 is locked it has got the clock on automatically, can i change it? It bothers me very much and takes battery life!

After unblocking N79 keyboard, sometimes clock is slow, even for good 30 minutes late. This glitch is year old, and keeps going from fw to fw, it even exists in newest v 32 fw. Does anybody in Nokia use N79?It was once fixed (in v 11, with which i bought my phone) but later it appeared again.

I have a very peculiar issue with my 920. The phone sometimes does not lock when I press the power button. That time, it does not even get locked automatically. I always reboot when it does that; was even about to return the fone coz of this but no device is perfect.

Updated my 5800 software which sorted out the problem with my maps but my full QWERTY has gone. I miss it! I'm left with the other options including the mini QWERTY but it's not the same. Tried turning off and taking the battery out but it didn't work. Any ideas? Do I need to restore factory settings I want my QWERTY back!

After updating to new firmware via online. Whenever I type using the qwerty keyboard the letters do not appear in the box. Although they are there i.e. when I go back to message screen then what I have typed is there. Anyone who has same problems along with a solution please.

When the clocks went forward my locked screen updated but my home screen clock hasent? If I go on time and date it just changes the time on the locked screen so the 2 clocks are an hour different.

I've got my iPhone five two days ago and bought it second hand but looks like brand new. The phone was turned off for three months and when it was turned on again the time stands still.Â
- The clock does not react on automatically time set, picks the right time zone but does not affect the time
- When I change the time manually the clock will show the time like I put it to but won't change.
- The time will run when the screen is unlocked but when I lock the screen and then turn in back on the time is reset to which I set it to.
- When I set the time manually and connect the iPhone to my MacBook the time runs perfectly but when I disconnect the phone the same problem appears.Â
I tried to reinstall the phone with iTunes but that didn't work.
I turned locations on.
I did a hard reboot.Â

I accidentally updated my iPhone 3gs to 5.1 when I have cydia now its locked and won't register no sim. I plugged it into itunes & tried to restore it but it wont restore past the 4th step.

Firstly, on the clock on the lock screen, when i press the homebutton its like the time isn't up to date. It will change in a split second to the latest time. Why does this happen?
Also when using whatsapp, when the device is locked and i go back into a conversation when whatsapp opens its like the keyboard vanishes and i just see a black box where the keyboard should be. After a couple of seconds, the keyboard appears.
Ive made no changes and dont see any reason why i need to make any tweaks but this is rather annoying. I didnt experience this on using the HTC and quickly frankly im tempted to go back.

When i was using the Facebook app on my phone, my phone froze so i pressed the home button and then clicked the power off button at the top. Then i clicked it back on and noticed my whole home screen looks different. Picture at bottom. Can any tell me what happened?

I got my new iphone today and I was using it for about half a day without any problems however I put in the lastest software update and the keyboard went wild. The y and 6 buttons will not click. I downloaded a different keyboard but no luck. I also restarted the phone and reset it no luck. Before updating it the phone was working flawlessly.

Some time ago my Blackberry Storm was automatically updated from V4.7 to V5. the following day I found that I was unable to forward any text messages. I contacted Vodafone and they informed me that was correct Blackberry had changed it's firmware. This seems ridiculous to me but anyone confirm this for me. I would like to keep the phone up to date, but ended up putting V4.7 back on the system.

My screen automatically turn on even after I lock it my battery is draining fast because it wont go black unless I lock it again then after a few seconds it will turn on again even if I didn't touch it! My screen time out is in 30 seconds mode.

Is there a way to see which app were updated by the system?My S5 is set to automatically update all apps. Yesterday, Jan 12 2015 some apps were automatically updated by my phone. Since then, the phone is overheating and does not appear to charge (wireless) at a normal speed...If I could figure out which apps were updated when, then I could either roll back the update or remove the apps.

I like that my apps currently get updated automatically, but I don't really want to see it. If I turn off all alerts/notifications for it, in Settings > Notification Center, will the automatic updates still happen?

I have a Bold 9700 with a dead keyboard. Any attempt to type either doesn't work or some random characters show up. I can't delete/press enter/anything.I have a new 9900 that I'd like to transfer the 9700's contents to. The trouble is, I can't enter the 9700's password (which I know) to unlock the 9700-with-dead-keyboard. Also - hte content is encrypted.Is there any way around this? Can I somehow enter the password via bbsak or mcp or something? Or some other tool?

I may have hit a wrong button or series of buttons. Now I can't enter my password to unlock my Tour phone. Some of the keys such as the "S" and "H" keys, including the "del" key are not working. My numlock is not on and this is my only phone. Is it possible I accidentally changed a setting? I only have 5 password attempts left.

I noticed after a recent update (I believe a system update, but I'm not completely sure) that on the HTC Sense Input keyboard in the stock messenger, if you type ": )" (without the space) it automatically changes to an emoji. This goes for other symbol smileys too. Is there any way to turn that off?

My iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
