I recently updated my X6 software from a nokia care but from today morning i am facing problem in my X6 Mobile, i try to get the screen unlocked but it doesnt and if i restart the phone too the lock doesnt seem to release me to get into th menu. how can i unlock the screen? is this a software error?

While my n8 is locked it has got the clock on automatically, can i change it? It bothers me very much and takes battery life!

Much to my amusement i was informed that i should not have updated the software of my phone via the web. Then WHY do you have it there????? Also now the software update section for the x7 handset has been taken off the website. they say that end of december Belle will be available with x7. it seems there are pretty serious problems with Anna. hope Nokia does something big time about this as a new phone just launched a couple of months in the market is playing up seriously with other couple of problems (dust under the screen restarting to name few! what a comeback Nokia with the launch of their so called Gamin Device.

Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

The problem is my phone still randomly connects to 3G when I'm out and about. There seem to be some background processes using data and thus making me waste money. I changed the communities and mail settings but it still connects to 3G randomly.

I have tried leaving it switched off for 15 mins, and restating it. This lets me restart the time and date but then locks once the phone opens up. I have tried a drawing pin and paper clip to slide the keyguard without the keyguard but to no avail.

In linking to new Playbook, messed up and had to 'start again' with blackberry phone. Messed up also with my old password and after 10 tries it froze. I have gone through password reset process but still blocking me with the message: Your account has been locked. Please try again after the lockout period has expired or call customer service.Any suggestions other than a call to technical desk. I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite. Incidentally, I didn't see the option after 10 tries to enter word 'blackberry' but it was late at night and frustration had kicked in. Possibly I missed that.

i have an iphone 4 locked to at&t network in the States, it was used by a relative of mine who is no more working there. i want to legally unlock this phone and use in gsm carriers [mine is airtel india] here. i dont have the now discontinued at&t no.or other details. well instead of going for a illegal jailbreak or keep this technological masterpiece as a paper weight, i think i can do this. should i contact at&t if yes can i have their mail id, as the phone nos. i have seen here are not working, possibly coz of the time difference between US and India. i have recently loaded this with 5.1.1 os.

I used a new phone number and a new blackberry apps world id, but with the same blackberry 9900. Aparently, I could not log into the phone, and so the phone is locked with an unknown id and password. So, the only thing the phone could do is to format all the bbm contacts etc, while I really need all the contacts.
