May 4, 2012I live in the Philippines but my iPhone 4S was bought from Korea. There is no Apple store in my place and no one can help me fix my problem with my iPhone. I don't think Apple would replace my phone either despite the fact that it's still under warranty. My phone would normally go on "No Service" status since I updated to iOS 5.1, so I am not able to make/receive phone calls/messages most of the time. It's really frustrating especially because my iPhone is just 3 months old.
- I have restored my iPhone's OS and didn't do any back up
- Did reset network, reset all settings, among other resets available in my phone
- Used a new sim card from my network provider
- Used sim card from other network provider (since my phone is factory unlocked)

Jun 24, 2010I have updated my nokia n97 a month ago to version 32.001. Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

Mar 12, 2012Ok, so my phone is locked and when I double click on the home button to quickly access the camera button while still being locked it is not working. The icon itself looks differetn and it pulls up the screen so I can slightly see the camera at the very bottom but then bounces back to the home locked screen. What is wrong and how can I fix it. I have a 2 year old and love this feature because it quickly captures the moment.

Apr 10, 2012I recently upgraded my iphone 3GS to the IOS 5.1 however i have noticed that now i am unable to use the camera whilst my phone is locked.
I can use the button but the screen kind of jumps up, like when you double click the home button, to reveal the bottom part of the camera, the shutter and camera/video camera slide, but then the locked page comes back down to hide the camera. Also the function button isnt properly formed, i have the camera but instead of being in a box just the top and bottom lines are shown.

Since I upgraded to 5.1, I encounter the above mentioned problem. On tapping the camera icon on the locked iPhone screen, I can't launch the built-in camera. Nothing happens. (I must unlock the iPhone and tap the camera icon in order to take a picture).
1. I didn't have this problem after upgrading to iOS 5.0
2. I can still access the music buttons on the locked screen on iOS 5.1 though.

When double quick on the home button, I have the symbol for the camera but it does not respond when tapping on it. The camera button has two small bars above and two below, every time I tap on it, the lock screen jumps slightly, but no access. From the lock screen i however have access to my music volume. This time though, the camera icon does pop up, but when I go to click it the camera icon just "jumps" and will not open the camera option. I've setted fingerprints as lock, with a pin (clearly, for backup).
And it happens that when I need to take a photo rapidly, starting by a black screen (in standby so), through dedicated camera button, I can't modify some settings into Camera, just like modality or resolution or whatever, I can only modifiy Flash or Noflash et similia
I don't understand this choice and I don't respect It too
It's simply crazy to let open camera and we can't modify some settings, just because phone's locked ...
It's better to let modify for taking photos as simplier as possibile, because we can't firstly unlock our phone and then press on our camera button
And I don't think It's for security because I don't think that a thief who moves some settings in Camera can do more damns that He could do

Oct 31, 2015The main camera always goes into macro mode when selected. The selfie camera works fine. But for interim shots the main camera selects macro and the the flash comes on permanently. Phone will then only respond to On/Off button.
