My friend's display name updates by itself without her doing it and there is no change to the display name, sometimes a few times a day. is it possible that this can happen?
View 5 RepliesI have an at&t Galaxy s5 and last week I updated to 4.4.4, since then I can't add emojis to any of my contacts names. Any of my old contacts who had emojis still do but I cannot edit and add more or create contacts with emojis. I'm not sure why but if there's a solution that would be great! Also, I'm using SwiftKey keyboard.

With some of my contacts an incoming call with a Caller ID does not display the caller's name, although they are in my Contact List and the number is in a valid format.Same is the case for sms's from the same contact.I only have one entry of that contact in my phonebook.Any 1 facing the same issue?

But when I get a missed call from them, I only see the numbers and not the name of the person who called, in the missed call notification. Only when I click on the number and it starts to dial them, then their names appear.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo while using categories I noticed when you put in certain folder names the icons will sometimes automatically change to correspond to the theme you are using.I have only done this with 2 names: "Games" and "Apps"
I tried searching google for a specific list of names I could make them that would go with my theme but then realized its theme specific. Any ideas or can any1 teach me how to check? Im using glassklart and there are thousands of app icons so I imagine there are some other folder names that will do what I want that I simply just cant think of.
I bought a Z5 the other day and I haven't tried NFC until I got me a scr42 style cover for it. I noticed the smart window function doesn't work and realised that the phone doesn't display the NFC icon in the status bar. I've tried activating NFC from both the pull-down menu and the settings and in both the option lights up as if it were enabled, but the icon does not appear and the phone doesn't react to the tag on the cover.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've looked all over the web, my instruction manual, the index inside the phone, and in still cannot find the meaning of this symbol in the middle of my battery bar. From what I've seen on the internet, its as almost as if it does not exist. I would probably believe so if it was not for the fact that I am staring at it right now as I type this. I have had problems with the USB port on it before and I am pretty sure that has something to do with it. Also when Its plugged into the computer and the port and USB are finally working in unison, the computer says that it is malfunctioned.

I have been trying to display battery percentage on the battery status icon as in the stock app but it was fruitless. What do I have to do to display the battery percentage on the battery status icon? In the case that it couldnt be done, how do I remove the battery status icon(stock) from the status bar while I download and display another battery indicator app from the market?

Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

I contacted Vodafone and they informed me that was correct Blackberry had changed it's firmware. This seems ridiculous to me but anyone confirm this for me. I updated to OS 7,1 yesterday, and since then, I 'm not able to use BBm nor emails functions anymore.Only Whats app is working properly. The pictures display has also changed and is much less practical than it used to be.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI live in the Philippines but my iPhone 4S was bought from Korea. There is no Apple store in my place and no one can help me fix my problem with my iPhone. I don't think Apple would replace my phone either despite the fact that it's still under warranty. My phone would normally go on "No Service" status since I updated to iOS 5.1, so I am not able to make/receive phone calls/messages most of the time. It's really frustrating especially because my iPhone is just 3 months old.
- I have restored my iPhone's OS and didn't do any back up
- Did reset network, reset all settings, among other resets available in my phone
- Used a new sim card from my network provider
- Used sim card from other network provider (since my phone is factory unlocked)

But yesterday night i turned the phone off and then when I turned it back on, I am facing a problem that is really annoying me. I am using widget locker for locking and unlocking purpose of the phone. When I lock my phone, after about 5-6 mins, I see the display of the phone automatically waking up although I did not touch any of the keys. For about 1 min, the display will remain awake and then fall asleep automatically. This cycle starts at around 3AM and stops after 2-3 hours.
