Some time ago my Blackberry Storm was automatically updated from V4.7 to V5. the following day I found that I was unable to forward any text messages. I contacted Vodafone and they informed me that was correct Blackberry had changed it's firmware. This seems ridiculous to me but anyone confirm this for me. I would like to keep the phone up to date, but ended up putting V4.7 back on the system.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBoth PC Suite and Ovi were working perfectly until I updated my Ovi to the latest version early this week. Now, whenever I start Ovi, it will crash after 15-20sec if my 5800 is connected ( either bluetooth or USB ). If the phone is not connected, Ovi will stay without any issue. Btw, PC Suite is working fine. Here is the error message pop-up on the screen when Ovi crashed.

This is what i did so far :
i) Uninstall Ovi , re-download from Nokia web, reinstall : Failed to fix

iii) Format and reinstall Windows 7 ( Yes, I did !!! ) , re-download and reinstall Ovi Suite : Failed to fix
I strongly believe this error is caused by the latest version of Ovi Suite, as i have another laptop which running with the older version of Ovi Suite works perfectly with my 5800. I have uninstall the Ovi Suite, I will only try it again when next release is available.
I have updated my nokia n97 a month ago to version 32.001. Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

Her Microsoft Exchange account works correctly on her old 3G (3.1.3) and on her iPad (3.2.1) but gives this error when trying to retrieve mail: "The connection to the server failed" on the iPhone 4. We have re-entered the correct information many times and also tried the account on my iPhone 4 and it gives the exact same error.
Again, the account seems to setup and verify fine under settings > mail > etc.. but once we try to retrieve the mail it fails with the server error.
i can not view mms photos that have been sent to me or send them, my iphone just exits the program automatically. i also can't enter my photo album.?
