MTP USB Device Failed and i have no axses to my phone at all threw my computer i have even uninstalled and reinstalled no go i even tried the older motocast it wont even work now someone please help how do i fix it? ever since the update i have this issue now and i cant fix it no matter what i do. now i cant even putmy music on my phone or pictures nothing.
View 15 RepliesMotocast app was preloaded on new razr. I manually loaded motocast software on desktop and laptop. Motocast working great for getting pictures to and from desktop & laptop. I called tech suppoirt for email problem and was told to update my device to the latest OS. I did this and after rebooting device, there was no motocast app/logo and no USB selection window. I now can not download pics and can only upload files from my desktop and laptop.

I contacted Vodafone and they informed me that was correct Blackberry had changed it's firmware. This seems ridiculous to me but anyone confirm this for me. I would like to keep the phone up to date, but ended up putting V4.7 back on the system.

I then turn off my monitor of my computer and head to bed with my cell phone in hand.
I then use my WIFI and access Motocast and stream Videos. Its a .wmv format; it plays but then freezes up, plays then freezes up; I usually can deal with it. But after selecting a different video to play I get an error message saying "requires flash to play video" then a few other videos wont play. Then when I quit Motocast on my cell phone and go back in, it says that my Computer is offline
I just got this phone from someone who upgraded up. If I only want to use it for calls and texting and nothing else, should I update from its current system version 1.6 / Firmware version 1.5?If I wanted to do this manually, are system and firmware updates done separately and where are the download pages to do it manually?There are threads talking about how updates slowed down CLIQ MB200 phones. Do they slow down the basic functions of this phone? I see there are Android platform versions all the way up to 3.2. Is version 2.1 the last version compatible with MB200?Some threads compare updating this phone to installing Windows 7 or Vista on older computers - they would slow down basic functions on them so it's really not worth it to update. Is that comparison true when it comes to this first Android phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Cliq updated to 2.1.5 through T-mobile.Up until this weekend, I had no problem getting Data pushed through whether I was in my area or my boyfriends area (his is non 3G and he does NOT have WiFi) ...I was at his place this weekend, and my Data ONLY pushed through when I was in a WiFi area and I had WiFi enabled.he problem is, now that I'm home IN A 3G AREA my Data STILL only pushes through when WiFi is enabled. I get NO INTERNET CONNECTION at all.I can't even get my phone to be recognized through the Motorola Troubleshooter now when it IS plugged into my laptop via USB ....Hoping to avoid a reset, even though I have everything synched through my Blur acct and Gmail

From all the info that I've read, the latest version is 1.1.30. I've tried doing a system update from the phone, but it tells me that I am up to date.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe screen has been cracked recently, so my brother took it upon himself to buy me a Cliq (MB200) from someone off CraigsList for my birthday. I am not sure if this is the route I would had gone but it's not like he can take it back now. Luckily it is a Cliq with a T-Mobile emblem on it, which is my carrier, so there shouldnt be any problems. And it appears to be in excellent condition.OK, time to transfer the SIM card.First, we cannot get the newly purchased Cliq to recgognize my SIM card. It is an old T-Mo SIM card that has been transferred from A Samsung T-719 purchased in 2007 to a BB Pearl to a BB Curve and then to the Cliq2 bought in 2011. I do have newer SIM cards that have never been opened or activated, so that could be an option. But the SIM works fine in my Cliq2. But in the newly purchased Cliq we immediately get the "Please insert SIM card" message on the screen.Yes, we did do a factory reset and then re-tested the SIM.Wi-Fi works.We were curious if the SIM Card can't be read until we go through the Motoblur registration.Also, can the Motoblur info just be transferred from the Cliq2 to the SIM Card or SD Card so I don't have to login on the newly purchased Cliq?I forgot my Motoblur password and it is registered with an inactive email address, so a password recovery via email is not an option. Should I just open a new Motoblur account? Will it let me connect the same emails and social media accounts as the old Motoblur account?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app.That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.

Music, photos and documents all present and available all the time.But my iTunes playlists are not. Major bummer. MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."

Do i send the phone back to USCellular? Do I send the phone back to Motorola? or is there a fix for this on Microsoft or Motorola?
I just finished the ICS soak for Bionic... and I still cannot log in to motocast due to a popup yelling at me that i have an unsupported device. Even though the ICS update ADDED the app to my phone and let me uninstall zumocast...Im really frustrated cause when i read the update notes say it was adding motocast to my phone i removed zumo from my laptop and instantly removed zumo before trying motocast.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to ics motocast wants to install on my pc and does not give me an option to say no and not have it show again, like the vista start screen. I decided to install motocast and just ignore it but when I rebooted it started my browser with a video for backup assistant after looking thru msconfig and regedit I believe this program to be malware like microsoft security 2012 or many other softwares that use extortion to sell their product. I am not questioning the validity of the backup software but rather the way it like motocast doesn't give me an option. When I called Verizon they said it was a Motorola problem so can someone please tell me how to get this MALWARE from loading! I did get the browser to stop loading after removing all of motocast via add/remove.

My iphone4 stucked in recovery mode after updating to iOS5.1 and now it has been restored but it says there is no simcard installed! Now my iphone is useless and I am so depress because it is 4mons.old :( I dont know where to repair it or should apple carry the responsible to replace it.

Both PC Suite and Ovi were working perfectly until I updated my Ovi to the latest version early this week. Now, whenever I start Ovi, it will crash after 15-20sec if my 5800 is connected ( either bluetooth or USB ). If the phone is not connected, Ovi will stay without any issue. Btw, PC Suite is working fine. Here is the error message pop-up on the screen when Ovi crashed.

This is what i did so far :
i) Uninstall Ovi , re-download from Nokia web, reinstall : Failed to fix
ii) Uninstall Ovi and all Nokia related software , clean Registry and reinstall Ovi Suite : Failed to fix
iii) Format and reinstall Windows 7 ( Yes, I did !!! ) , re-download and reinstall Ovi Suite : Failed to fix
I strongly believe this error is caused by the latest version of Ovi Suite, as i have another laptop which running with the older version of Ovi Suite works perfectly with my 5800. I have uninstall the Ovi Suite, I will only try it again when next release is available.
Just getting my wife's iPhone 4 setup and updated to 4.0.1. Her Microsoft Exchange account works correctly on her old 3G (3.1.3) and on her iPad (3.2.1) but gives this error when trying to retrieve mail: "The connection to the server failed" on the iPhone 4. We have re-entered the correct information many times and also tried the account on my iPhone 4 and it gives the exact same error.
Again, the account seems to setup and verify fine under settings > mail > etc.. but once we try to retrieve the mail it fails with the server error.
I get the Message "System Update failed while downloading. Restart the device and try again" every time I try to update.

My current device software version is 5.0.0.321 and BB desktop software version is updated to last version. the problem is when I connect my mobile to the PC and desktop software running and I choose update my device a window come up and said there are no BB device software updates available. This evening I can't even unlock the phone to get back to texts, etc. Very frustrated yet still "have hope". Okay, my daughter unlocked my phone just now. Is it that my hands are cold?... (Warm heart of course). Truly, there has to be another way to unlock this phone and/or answer calls when it's tempermental. Sliding the keyboard open doesn't work.
