While setting up my motocast i dropped a letter in my email(username) on the device so now it does not match the login on my PC. This is causing me to be unable to sync motocast. How do I change my login on my device?

I have a small problem with my MotoCast account. When I registered at MotoCast I typed incorrect email address and I would like to change it. So My question is Can I change email address on my MotoCast account or delete account and create new one?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMotocast app was preloaded on new razr. I manually loaded motocast software on desktop and laptop. Motocast working great for getting pictures to and from desktop & laptop. I called tech suppoirt for email problem and was told to update my device to the latest OS. I did this and after rebooting device, there was no motocast app/logo and no USB selection window. I now can not download pics and can only upload files from my desktop and laptop.

Ditto for "unknown album". Same for "songs" with no name or no genre. MotoCast is, without asking me, including all sorts of sound effect and video clip and other mish-mash of media riff raff that it has tumbled upon in my document folders..It's nice that you want MotoCast to be an all'round helpful product, but the document functions need to be separated from the music and the pictures, and each of those should be separated from the documents.

My BB ID for my Torch has an email address that is missing a digit.When I reached the maximum login attempts, I tried resetting the password but the BB ID for this device is missing a '1', thus when it sends the reset email, it's sending it to an email that isn't mine. I reset my password for the BB ID I thought was for this device, which includes the '1', but when I try using that BB ID on this phone, it says something like "use the BB ID associated with this device".

Correcting the wrong e-mail registered during the process of creation of Blackberry user ID. Now I forgot the password to log into Blackberry account. After answering the security question, my password is being sent to the wrong e-mail address created which of-course I couldn't open anyway as it is a wrong e-mail address. Now I left with only two more chances to log into Blachbeery user ID. My phone is Bold 9900.

I just received a new iPhone 4S and, when setting up the iCloud account on the new iPhone I typed the email address incorrectly. How can I delete the new account, which has the correct Apple ID and wrong email address? I have gone to AppleID@Apple.com and verified the correct email address is connected to my Apple ID. At iCloud.com/#mail I went to preferences and can add or delete an alias email address but can not delete the primary. When I try to change the email it says that email is already taken.

I then turn off my monitor of my computer and head to bed with my cell phone in hand.
I then use my WIFI and access Motocast and stream Videos. Its a .wmv format; it plays but then freezes up, plays then freezes up; I usually can deal with it. But after selecting a different video to play I get an error message saying "requires flash to play video" then a few other videos wont play. Then when I quit Motocast on my cell phone and go back in, it says that my Computer is offline
If I dump this blackberry, is there any way I can keep the email address?

I couldn't add the blackberry email address associated with my device back to the phone because I don't know the password. I created a new blackberry email address, but when I try to get updated in AppWorld it still wants the password from the old address. When I request a password reset it sends the information to the old email address which I can't access because I don't know the password.
Does anyone know how to change the email address associated with my device OR how to have the password reset info sent to a different email address?
I switched to new Bold 9900, need to switch my blackberry email address from old device to new 9900, No problem switching my non blackberry email address. It will not let me reload my previous blackberry address, wants to add a 1, 2, or a 3 to my name. I guess I need to ell the Blackberry server my new device.

But if I'm in email and want to add an attachment, if I select Gallery it only shows me the pics on my phone - no option to select Motocast files. Is that the way it's supposed to be or do I need to change something. It sure would be nice to access those files for attachments.

Question: How the heck do I delete certain entries from this list? Or how do I just clear the entire list? View 4 Replies View RelatedI have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app.That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.

Music, photos and documents all present and available all the time.But my iTunes playlists are not. Major bummer. MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."
View 11 Replies View RelatedIn the lastest device OS, the email application on the device caches email addresses from emails you have received, so that when you compose a new message these cached email addresses appear in the quick list along with addresses from your Contacts list. I need to know how to turn off this feature or to at least delete some of the cached addresses. Here's the problem. I have a contact in my Contacts list whose name is Thomas. He often goes by Tom, but I don't have Tom in the Contact record for him. He sent me a conference call invitation in which he used the name Tom to set up the conference. The actual email address is from freeconference.com, but his name appears as Tom. Now if I go to write an email to him and start to type Tom, the cached email appears and I end up sending an email to freeconference.com instead of to his real email address. I'm sure this happens with other contacts as well. Since the real email address is masked in the quick pick list, it is very easy to miss this issue and send to the wrong place.

Even though the ICS update ADDED the app to my phone and let me uninstall zumocast...Im really frustrated cause when i read the update notes say it was adding motocast to my phone i removed zumo from my laptop and instantly removed zumo before trying motocast.

I decided to install motocast and just ignore it but when I rebooted it started my browser with a video for backup assistant after looking thru msconfig and regedit I believe this program to be malware like microsoft security 2012 or many other softwares that use extortion to sell their product. I am not questioning the validity of the backup software but rather the way it like motocast doesn't give me an option. When I called Verizon they said it was a Motorola problem so can someone please tell me how to get this MALWARE from loading! I did get the browser to stop loading after removing all of motocast via add/remove.

We have installed the software on the computer (a Macbook Pro) and skipped the wireless setup (because we are only interested in USB syncing at this time). But when we connect the phone, all we get is a message, "Please wait while MotoCast USB loads your content."

I have set up the email account according to HugheNets instructions. Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?

I just discovered that if I add a new contact on the phone, using the stock contact app and being sure it is added within the corporate synch account, when the synch happens with outlook, the name transfers over, the phone number transfers over, but the email address is not transferring over. It is blank even though I added it on the phone. I add the email address a second time on the phone after i see the contact synch on outlook and it still doesn't transfer over. I tried it with a test contact on the phone and the same thing happens.
The ms exchange service (3rd party) is telling me to make sure the data is current on outlook and remove the account from the phone and re-synch the phone w/ exchange. However I can't tell how much info will be lost by doing this (and am not going through to compare contacts from outlook to the phone) so am discounting it for the moment. They then say that the phone handles the synching.
Prior to posting I added on the droid, the business name, title, address and notes to the contact and they synched to outlook, but still no email address. I rebooted the phone, no email address. I deleted the address, saved the contact, waited 5 minutes, added the email address back and no email address synch with outlook.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI like my E72 but I have two problems that really annoy me.
1. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). for some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. if I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
2. Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone.
Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.
