Motorola :: Motocast Quits On Handheld Device After A Few Minutes

So its like this; I reboot PC; play Video games for a few hours and just as I'm about to go to bed I launch Motocast (on computer)
I then turn off my monitor of my computer and head to bed with my cell phone in hand.
I then use my WIFI and access Motocast and stream Videos. Its a .wmv format; it plays but then freezes up, plays then freezes up; I usually can deal with it. But after selecting a different video to play I get an error message saying "requires flash to play video" then a few other videos wont play. Then when I quit Motocast on my cell phone and go back in, it says that my Computer is offline

Motocast app was preloaded on new razr. I manually loaded motocast software on desktop and laptop. Motocast working great for getting pictures to and from desktop & laptop. I called tech suppoirt for email problem and was told to update my device to the latest OS. I did this and after rebooting device, there was no motocast app/logo and no USB selection window. I now can not download pics and can only upload files from my desktop and laptop.

MTP USB Device Failed and i have no axses to my phone at all threw my computer i have even uninstalled and reinstalled no go i even tried the older motocast it wont even work now someone please help how do i fix it? ever since the update i have this issue now and i cant fix it no matter what i do. now i cant even putmy music on my phone or pictures nothing.

While setting up my motocast i dropped a letter in my email(username) on the device so now it does not match the login on my PC. This is causing me to be unable to sync motocast. How do I change my login on my device?

I've been having a lot of trouble getting this done, and it's quite frustrating. I want to stream music from my computer to my Atrix phone so I can listen to my computer music library anywhere. That's all. All Motocast USB lets me do is sync my music to the SD card, which I DON'T want to do.

I have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app.That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.

Droid Razr; using MotoCast Wireless. XP computer is on all the time, no trouble connecting. Music, photos and documents all present and available all the time.But my iTunes playlists are not. Major bummer. MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."

Been searching here and cannot find the answer...I apologize if I missed something, but been going back and forth through the forums and online...Updated the Facebook app to latest version (1.8....) when I updated other apps/OS on my phone (8900, OS 4.6.1). Prior to that I think I had downgraded to 1.5 (or 1.6) to be able to upload photos consistently (didn't work with any "newer" version, so went backwards). With that version running...lacked features, but ran fine and photos were uploaded every time (FB started compressing them again, which is why I opted to try the update to 1.8)...my notifications were working properly gmail account on BB (only email associated with handheld) has FB emails set to skip inbox, mark as read etc. when you view on the web. Notifications came through FB app on BB (red star and alert) just fine, AND were "hidden" in BB messages folder. You could navigate to them, but didn't clutter the inbox.
I am VERY confused about the settings on this 1.8 version. Right now I get notifications on the app (red star, can read through app), BUT they also stay in my gmail inbox on the handheld which obviously takes up a LOT of space and don't want to have to constantly delete them. I do NOT get notified of a new email or anything, but want these hidden as they were in previous version.I WANT the emails to go to my gmail account they way they had been, I just do not want them to show up on my BB in the gmail inbox. Tried settings in options menu and doing via FB on the web, but can't find the right combination. Only see people with opposite problem of NOT getting notifications through FB app on BB, and I don't want to mess anything up.Can someone please help and explain what may fix this to go back to hiding the EMAIL version of the notification JUST on the handheld without disabling notifications through the app or with my web email?

I just finished the ICS soak for Bionic... and I still cannot log in to motocast due to a popup yelling at me that i have an unsupported device. Even though the ICS update ADDED the app to my phone and let me uninstall zumocast...Im really frustrated cause when i read the update notes say it was adding motocast to my phone i removed zumo from my laptop and instantly removed zumo before trying motocast.

I just got a Curve 8520 today, everything seemed to be going alright until I tried to sign into Gmail, it didn't work. (This has happened before on another non-BB phone -- So I didn't think much of it) Then I tried to log in to the Yahoo Instant Messenger on the IM folder.Each one (MSN, YIM, AIM) gave me the error message of 'Service not Enabled for this Handheld device" I looked on Google, YES I do have a data plan, I went to my service provider about a different problem, (Close enough, it was about emails), and I DO have the Data plan.

I just updated my Blackberry Bold 9700 and now I can't get past this screen with the proprietary acceptance text. I have tried the following unsuccessfully:
1. Taken the battery off and put back on and re-booted.
2. Tried to update the software again by connecting to my laptop.
3. Taken the battery off, then put battery back on, when red light turned off, I pressed the escape button to possible start in safe mode. didn't work.

After updating to ics motocast wants to install on my pc and does not give me an option to say no and not have it show again, like the vista start screen. I decided to install motocast and just ignore it but when I rebooted it started my browser with a video for backup assistant after looking thru msconfig and regedit I believe this program to be malware like microsoft security 2012 or many other softwares that use extortion to sell their product. I am not questioning the validity of the backup software but rather the way it like motocast doesn't give me an option. When I called Verizon they said it was a Motorola problem so can someone please tell me how to get this MALWARE from loading! I did get the browser to stop loading after removing all of motocast via add/remove.

A family member has a new Motorola Droid Razr, and we are trying to get MotoCast USB to work. We have installed the software on the computer (a Macbook Pro) and skipped the wireless setup (because we are only interested in USB syncing at this time). But when we connect the phone, all we get is a message, "Please wait while MotoCast USB loads your content."

I've had my Motorola Electrify since the middle of November last year and didn't really notice it too much for atleast a couple months, but recently if I dont reboot my phone for more than 2 days, and sometimes sooner than that, it will stop playing any notification sounds and just now it didn't even play any ring sound at all when I just received a call. It vibrated, but didn't play any sound. This is getting frustrating. I have even factory reset my phone a few weeks ago because of other things, and it still hasn't fixed this issue. In fact it seems to be getting worse. At first it was SOME notification sounds after 4 or 5 days not rebooting, now its all notification AND ring sounds after just a couple days. I have the app "Tasker" installed and have sounds associated with some profiles, but don't really think thats the problem because its not just sounds associated with the app, its system events too, like receiving a call, etc.

After the gingerbread update I found that the proximity sensor would quit workng and the only solution was to restart the phone. I found that using bluetooth caused this behavior (repeated several times) by getting it to fail (although not every time) using the following sequence.
1. Power down and restart the phone (so that it was in a known state)
2. Call voice mail to confirm that the proximity sensor was working
3. Turn on blue tooth.
4. Turn off blue tooth. (didn't use it in between other then to connect with headset)
5. Call voice mail and proximity sensor would not work.
6. Cycle power on phone
7. Call voice mail and proximity sensor would work.
My solution was to quit using bluetooth and have not been using since the first week I updated to gingerbread. I did have the sensor quit working one time since but didn't think much of it until my daughter-in-law told me she had the same problem and she doesn't use bluetooth but she does use the speaker phone much more than I do. I believe that both speaker phone and bluetooth functions disable the sensor while in use. Is it possible that it is not always getting re-enabled? I have seen other posts concerning the proximity sensor not working but have not seen a tie to bluetooth use.

I have the bold 9700 and about 3 days ago I stopped receiving emails on my device, however I was getting them on my inbox on my PC. Now, I am getting them but there's allot of lag time. My PC inbox gets them right away but it takes my blackberry 20 minutes after it's sent to get sometimes. I tried multiple e-mails and same thing so I know the problem is not the email server and I also have no problems with my BIS and when I send emails with my BB they're sent to the inbox immediately.

I know there is no way in contacting blackberry support without paying with money i dont have.. But am hoping that some blackberry profesionals actualy go on the forums sometimes.Firstly is there anyway to contact someone who really knows something about the device. correct me if im wrong but if we could talk to the people who made the device they would for sure know exactly wat is wrong with the device and be a huge help.

There is a lot to like about the tablet, but some features I'm disappointed in. I was looking at the "supported devices" page for the Motocast USB software and it does not include this tablet. At the bottom of the page, it also says "MotoCast USB software works with most but not all of Motorola's Android devices." Is it possible to use it on the FE?

I just got my Droid Razr yesterday. I was able to connect it to my PC (windows XP) via USB and transfer some songs. But I cannot set up Motocast wireless, however. Every time I try, it checks for a wireless connection, then goes to a set up Motocast wireless screen. It sits there for a couple of seconds, then the programs just exits.
I have read through the forum, and based on some other recommendations I saw there, I unistalled Java, and went to java.com and downloaded the latest version. I have disabled my Windows Firewall, and stopped Real Time Protection on my Microsoft Security Essentials. I also unistalled the Motocast program, which had first loaded from my phone, and downloaded Motocast from [URL]

Ok, I have scoured the forums and tried everything, but cannot get my MOTOACTV or my BIONIC to be detected by my PC. I'd like to update the MOTOACTV, Steps taken so far:Unistall MOTOCAST ( ver 2.0.23), shut down PC, re-installfactory reset on MOTOACTV Unistall MOTOCAST ( ver 2.0.23), shut down PC, re-install as administratorMOTOACTV is basically factory except for some golf course downloads.I dont show any MOTO devices under mt device manager network connecttions.Also, I have confirmed that the Motorola device manager service is running and evan restarted it.

I have connected my razr maxx and successfully transferred tunes. I am presented with options to sync music, photos, videos and podcasts. I am not presented with contacts.I wish to sync with Outlook. I have installed MotoCast USB and it states, when I click it that Contacts sync account for Windows is active.

Can use Motocast just fine thru my phone and web browser with my home computer (mymotocast.com).
Trying to setup the MotoActv account on my Droid RAZR and it's giving me "Invalid Credentials" when entering my Motocast ID. When I go to www.motoactv.com I get the same "Invalid Credentials" error as well.
If my Motocast ID works for the mymotocast website shouldnt it also work for the motoactv site?

I have a problem with my touch screen. It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(( when touch screen stops working, all keys work correctly, home key & others )

I can access my NAS drive through my desktop PC using motocast but I want to access the NAS when the desktop is swithced off.I add server using FILES app.I have tried all addresses including router ip and other numerical addresses that are used and recognised by windows.It always asks for a password even though the only password I use on this device is the admin one to access the GUI of the router.Windows XP has no problem accessing this drive without a password or login, in fact it very easily appears in MY NETWORK PLACES.
