I am playing with a Touch Diamond and have my Exchange account setup perfectly fine. It syncs and works great. I can also surf the web with Opera without a problem....all of this with my AT&T sim and unlimited data plan. It auto-configured the Diamond and off I went.However, I just added a new Pop (tried IMAP too) email account, and Mobile Outlook tells me "Cannot Connect Email Account Using Current Settings"...it appears in a little pop-up window that comes off the H or E icon at the top of the screen. Now, I am "online" with this device (data) perfectly fine...and the default "Connection" that the Diamond is set to use is "Media Net" - which is really the only viable option I believe. But no matter what, this account will not connect online.Any suggestions for this silly problem? I have tried changing the "default" connect that applications use to access the internet, but with no success.

I just had my Diamond connected via the USB to ActiveSync on the PC, and as soon as the Diamond was using that PC's internet connection, it went and retrieved the email from my new IMAP account just fine. So, I know all my configurations for the account are correct, but for some reason, this new email address is the ONLY application on the Diamond that is NOT connecting to the internet. NEVERMIND I didn't see the menu item (2nd set of menu's under "advanced") in the Account setup (only appeared after I went back in twice and edited the account) to manually select which Connection to use for the account. ALL IS GOOD NOW..I'M SILLY.
