Nov 13, 2011Is there a way to export or import contacts on a Motorola EX124G? I am trying to transfer contacts from one EX124G to another EX124G but can't find any options on the phone for transferring contacts.

I tend to go 1 tap to many and start accessing the internet when I don't want to.
Can the Icons at the bottom of the display be replaced or reordered? Can Internet access be 'locked'?

Nov 18, 2011How do I create a speed dial number? Meaning I press one button and the phone dials (my wife!). I can't find it in the manual and have tried looking under every setting. I thought it existed in the contacts area as an option for the contact but I don't see it there now.

Aug 29, 2011I have set up my HughesNet email account on my EX124G. I can receive email messages but cannot send them. I have set up the email account according to HugheNets instructions. Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?

Jul 2, 2012When I first got my lapdock I was very surprised when I first started using Firefox. It was just like what I was use to on my laptop. I hardly even missed my laptop. When I got upgraded to ICS on my Razr MAXX I just absolutely love Webtop 3.0.My problem starts there. Although I love Webtop, I hate the browsers for surfing the web. The closest browser that I could find to fill my needs on 3.0 is Chrome Beta. Now, while Chrome is a great browser, it doesn't have all the features of Firefox. I so miss Firefox.Does anyone have any suggestions that might me in my quest to find a browser that is closer to what Firefox was on Webtop 2.0?So far I have tried Dolphin, Skyfire, Firefox, Opera and the default Browser. I have been disappointed with all of them in one way or another. Like I said earlier, Chrome Beta has been the best so far.

Jun 19, 2011I had an issue yesterday when using the WebTop. Firefox became completely unresponsive when browsing this forum. I was able to close the app by clicking the X at the top right. WebTop continued to work, and if i loaded a link defined as a web app it worked, but if i tried to load Firefox or a link defined as a bookmark i got an error message indicating the Firefox was already running and had to be closed.
It occurred to me that there was no WebTop task manager that I could use to Force Close a process. I tried a few things including force closing the WebTop connector in Mobile View but nothing worked. I ultimately had to reboot the phone to get it operational again.

Feb 6, 2012Hardware is only as good as its software. It would seem many of the issues I'm having with my lapdock browser would be cured if it was running the latest versions of flash or if the browser itself was current.
I know Matt stated in the rumors section that ICS is moving along and should be out whenever they can get it ready, so here is my question. Will the lapdock browser be updated in that upgrade?(isn't that seperate from the operating system?)
Will the Flash be updated for the lapdock as well? (it's packaged in the browser isn't it?) Lastly, not entirely unrelated...
why not have a lapdock market place for apps? (i hate loading an app and finding it only runs on the phone dashboard)
Motorola Webtop Docks :: Firefox Not Working Over Cellular Connection?
May 18, 2012I purchased my Lapdock 100 from a Verizon store yesterday, although I have an Atrix 2 through AT&T. When I tried it for the first time at home last night everything worked great but my phone was using the wifi connection. Today at work I try it over a cellular connection and the Firefox browser does not get internet, but the phone browser and any other phone based internet apps do while connected to the lapdock screen. For example I can maximize the phone's browser on the laptop screen and access the internet, but it is not optimal visually, I would much rather have the Firefox browser and other webtop apps working.
Is there something cell provider specific that is blocking the cellular data because I bought the lapdock from Verizon but use AT&T?
