The Internet Icon in the EX124g just happens to be right 'below' the spot where you hit back...
I tend to go 1 tap to many and start accessing the internet when I don't want to.
Can the Icons at the bottom of the display be replaced or reordered? Can Internet access be 'locked'?
Does anyone here own a EX124G from Tracfone? Would like to know about adding apps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have set up my HughesNet email account on my EX124G. I can receive email messages but cannot send them. I have set up the email account according to HugheNets instructions. Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?

View 2 Replies View Relatedhave an ex115 that i bought in the US. live inbetween US and Australia. i have called my provider in australia TPG(they use optus network) for settings. since phone not registered in australia they dont have correct settings. have given me generic motorola ones but cannot get them to work. have alos called motorla in australia a few times. they say that since not registered with them in australia the WAP setting will be different and cannot be changed.

Ive been on the phone multiple times with tmobile. we finally got my internet to work through the browser but I am still getting the same error message when i try to set up my email "your BlackBerry internet service account is suspended or deactivated. contact your wireless carrier" andnothing tmobile has done has helped.i have a curve 9300 os6

Recently upgraded phone software and maps - everything works fine except when activating Ovi Maps at which point I'm prompted to 'Go online' which when prompted, the phone confirms no internet connection - tools online - and I get the message on screen Internet Usage disabled.Everything else installed on the phone works fine - including all the internet related software, email , facebook etc.Appreciate that others may be having same problem as we carried out same upgrades on second phone in the house last night and Same problem

I've been trying to tether my Sony Erricson Xperia Neo to a laptop pc. Android OS.I first tried USB tethering but my laptop had no internet access, so I instead tried setting up a portable wifi hotspot to see if that would work. My laptop recognised the network I had created and I joined it succesfully, but I had no internet access. (Note: When I used USB tethering another network was recognised by the laptop)
I checked my phone and the 3g icon which shows that mobile internet is enabled (the two little verticle arrows with 3g above them) were not visible, but when I disabled the wi-fi hotspot, the icon appeared again. I'm not sure whether this is normal but could it be that 3g is being disabled with the activation of hotspotting, or is it just hidden automatically when wi-fi hotspotting is disabled? I find sometimes that the 3g icon disapears for no reason in areas I previously have had good signal, and then when I try and connect it takes a few seconds and then the icon appears again and I can connect.
I am unable to connect to the internet now. From yesterday just nothing happens when i click the data traffic icon and confirms the dailogue box that appears. No notification comes in the notification bar once it is turned on and I am unable to connect. But on disconnecting, the data traffic has been disabled notification appears.

However, there's a symbol on it that I don't remember from when I used it before and I can't find any information about it in the userguide or anywhere on the web. It looks like a padlock icon, black with a white T shape in it and it appears below the battery indicator. It's there all the time and never goes away.
