This is an old phone, I know, but I am wanting to get some images from it on to the computer. I have connected it via the USB connection but my computer is searching in vain for driver software. How do I get the images moved over. Do I need a memory card and can I still buy one for this old model?

The phone says the memory is full, even though I removed all the files I can, and cleared the cache in the internet browser. When i remove things the amount of memory doesn't change at all. Now I can't take photos, and I can't put any music in my phone at all, it's very frustrating!
I read that it could be a good idea to hard reset the phone to free up memory. But then I'll need to do a backup on my data, but how do I do that? It's basically the contacts i need to backup, since I sort of removed all the other files.... I'm using a Mac, so I can't use the PC suite program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 6600 Slide with the latest software (V6.55). I was successfully using Nokia Maps GPS navigation having purchased a license key for UK/Ireland in January 2011. I have an external bluetooth GPS device. Howver, the Maps license key has now expired (as expected, it was a 1-year licence). Without a license I cannot use the voice-guided navigation function.When I go throoug the phone menus to purchase a 1-year license again, I get to the menu that asks which payment method I wan to use (I select Visa). At this point the screen just refreshes, with no message or error code. I am not asked for payment card details. I cannot get past the "payment method" menu.
This process worked just fine for me in Jan 2011 when I first purchased a license, and other web browing functions using the built-in web browser are just fine. I have tried refreshing the Nokia software (It was already at V6.55, which is the latest level).
I am looking for Flashlight Application for my nokia 3600 Slide. I have got flash in this handset but dont know any app for it to use as a torch. the one compatible with my handset

View 4 Replies View RelatedOVI does copy outlook address and Note fields on its base (and on the Nokia base), but NOT onto the mobile although Memory size is big enough (see later). Sync message is "success". I restarted from scratch to avoid all conflicts (Phone, Ovi and Nokia internet base totally emptied). Sync works OK and copies outlook contacts fully on its own base, but address fields are not copied onto the mobile (Telephone connected via USB)
The only way I found to get them onboard was to copy contacts (drag & drop) from Ovi onto the phone. Unfortunately, this causes all other fields (Phone numbers, E-mail) to be copied again as if they were additional fields and synchronization pushes all theese additional fields on Ovi Data base and Nokia data base. Finally I get a base not usable to be transferred on other phones. I suppose this is because Nokia software does not recognize Telephone 2 or address 2 outlook fields as such. It would be ok with me if I had a way to get all existing outlook address fieds being copied at the beginning. Thanks for any help

I tend to go 1 tap to many and start accessing the internet when I don't want to.
Can the Icons at the bottom of the display be replaced or reordered? Can Internet access be 'locked'?
know if the Asha 302 auto keylock feature have the option to ask for a security code to unlock?( I am considering the Asha 302 to replace the C3-00 which does not have this option. My old ( low cost) 1616 has this security feature.)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.
