Motorola Ex Series :: Import/Export Contacts On EX124G?
Nov 13, 2011
Is there a way to export or import contacts on a Motorola EX124G? I am trying to transfer contacts from one EX124G to another EX124G but can't find any options on the phone for transferring contacts.
How to export all of the contacts from my phone into a format that I can view and make changes and then import back to the phone. I have had to many issues with my contacts. Some of them have been joined on the phone to better manage them, but I would like to export all the data make changes to it, then keep a master copy off of the phone.
Is it possible to send the phonebook stored in my TracFone w376g phone to another device via bluetooth?
I have been trying to achieve this and have gotten nowhere. The phones have been successfully paired, but within the w376g menus, I can't find an option that lets me send the phonebook (or anything else) via bluetooth.
How do I create a speed dial number? Meaning I press one button and the phone dials (my wife!). I can't find it in the manual and have tried looking under every setting. I thought it existed in the contacts area as an option for the contact but I don't see it there now.
I have set up my HughesNet email account on my EX124G. I can receive email messages but cannot send them. I have set up the email account according to HugheNets instructions. Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?
I went out and got a Motorola Brute the other day and was planning to take my Google contacts (which I can export in a CSV file) and simply import them into the phone... Unfortunately, it doesn't seem possible. Here's what I have tried:
* Online services - There don't seem to be any OTA contact management or backup apps for this phone available, even from Sprint.
* Motorola's own iDEN Phonebook Manager - The software is a joke. It formats its contact file in an Access 97 database, too old to edit with newer Access versions and has no facility to import phone numbers from anything else.
* DataPilot - Doesn't work right with Windows 7 - Can't update it and can't get it to import addresses from Outlook. Trying to reinstall XP now for another attempt but don't presently have time.
* SIM card editors - Tried various sim card editors, but they can't edit the NEXTEL phonebook on the SIM card, only the GSM phonebook which isn't recognized by the phone.
So, please everyone let's put our heads together and find a way to do this without using the T9 system!
Just got my wife a Motorola Gleam and trying to set it up.First thing I need to do is transfer phonebook entries from her old phone or PC to the Gleam and can't see how to do this. I tried Motorola Phone Tools V5 and it didn't recognise the phone.
my friend have a HTC P3600 and a new HTC DESIRE, is it possible to export data from the old HTC to import in the new HTC ? I tried with windows 7 (OS) and no possibility to import something.
My CLIQ has died. (radios and wifi) How can I export my Contacts to either the SD card or to my PC?
None of the radios work, so export has to be either to the SD card or via USB to a PC. Installing any apps to do this unfortunately has to be via the same route as well.
I went to call my DH today, and his number was deleted. I didn't do that, so now I would like to find a way to export my contacts to a computer file. This phone has a mind of its own. It makes calls and sends texts, and that is after I've locked it!
i cant figure out a way to synchronize to my Motorola Milestone my contacts and Calendar from outlook or PC Suite.I used Sony Ericsson and Nokia in the past and always was so easy to do it.But now, i cant find a good program for the Motorola to do it... This Motorola media link, doesn't seem to do the work as the PC Suite does..Is there any universal program out there that it might help?
I just spent two hours on the phone. First with Verizon, and then Motorola (I was disconnected from the rep at Motorola who did not call me back). This is the issue. When I got the Bionic I used a program called MyBackUpPro to put much of the stuff I had from my Original Droid onto the Bionic. I was up and running and very happy.Since the 8th when I got the phone everything sync's just find EXCEPT contacts. When I try to uncheck and check the box to sync contacts it give the error "Sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly.". I have tried to sync contacts over 30 times since then and that's the only message I get.My next step was to try to use Backup Assistant, however according to Verizon they are having problems with it.So they transfered me to Motorola, and I spoke to two reps there who took me through the same steps as Verizon... I did them for the second time and of course no go.I suggested to THEM that maybe I can import the contacts from outlook by saving them to a CSV file, putting it on the SD card then using your contacts program to import them. I attempted to do this and it can never find the file.I put the file both in the SD card AND the SD-ext card just in case. When choose import from SIM card it says there are no contacts on my SIM card.
All my contacts with direct connect #'s are converted to phone #'s. I exported my contacts to a vcf file and imported with the Admiral. Some #'s appear as "notes" with the # properly displayed with asterisks as separators. It's about time the people writing the software are forced to use it, not just release it and wait. Manually editing the #'s is not an option, so I'm supposed to go to a Sprint store and wait on line? C'mon. Also EVERY contact with a phone # also has a duplicate entry for a DC #? --Removed-- Now when I'm driving and have to call someone I have to scroll through 6 entries for each name and hope I press the right one?
I have my contacts synced to my phone via gmail. I would like to import ALL of my facebook contacts into my gmail/iPhone contacts. That way I would have other phone numbers available without having to load facebook app to find certain people.
I need to export my wife's S6 telephone contacts in a format that can be imported into Google's contacts so that she can email them from her office computer. Wasn't difficult on my Note 4 but can't seem to figure out the best way to do this on the S6. Is there a certain contact manager that will import them from her phone and then export them correctly? Contacts+ doesn't seem to work worth a crap for this.
I've been a happy user of a K790A for a few years. Now it's time to move on. I'm thinking of mortgaging the house and buying a Google Nexus One ;-)The question uppermost in my tiny mind is how to get the data from the K790A to the Nexus. I have been using FloAT's Mobile Agent 2 for some time.
Q: Is there a way to link FloAT's Agent to the Nexus? Q: Is there a way to export either from the K790 or FloAT's Agent in a format that could be imported by the Nexus? Q: Does anyone have a better idea?
I have tried to go through settings in the contacts list to save the numbers to the micro sd card but there is no option to do so. The phone does recognize the micro sd card and I have looked around and found nothing besides hooking it up directly to the computer but I don't want to go that route because I don't have the data cable and cant get one because where I am they don't deliver or sell the cable.
it possible to get a Series 40 (S40) handset, such as 6100 or 6700, to automatically sync over the air to cloud services such as Google? I know there are many ways to do this with S60 Symbian handsets (Mail for Exchange, various 3rd party apps) but not sure on the S40?
I recently lost my Nokia 5800, ainda i had it syncronized with my nokia ovi suite. Is there a way to export those contacts i have in nokia ovi suite, without plug in a nokia phone?
