I would like to set up email on my Torch 9800 but when I select email accounts in setup menu the next screen is enterprise activation and does not offer the regular internet email setup.

Sometimes when I text another person who has an iPhone the text message switches from iMessage to a regular text message -- from a "blue" message to a "green" one (if you know what I mean). I do not have an unlimited texting plan, so this means it counts against my 200 text limit. Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a setting I need to adjust?

I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.

It won't let me delete and eventually changes to a date in the year 2000 then randomly will go away. It just shows up on it's own. Email setup with default gmail account settings.

I have a Torch 9800. I have changed the password on my email accounts, but now I cannot update the email account settings on my phone. I have tried accessing via the setup menu, where nothing happens when I select "Email Accounts" (even after a hard reboot), and through the Options menu in the messages folder. When I access it from there I get a message that says to contact the service provider.

I can delete the email from my blackberry but it does not give me the option to delete the email on my mailbox and handheld like most emails I get - becuase it bypasses my mailbox.

I have set up the email account according to HugheNets instructions. Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?

Lets say if I have a new email i would like to use and would like to delete the old one off my iphone but it has all of my contacts on it, how do i transfer those contacts, notes, and calendars, to the new email account?
keep in mind that if i delete the email acount with the contacts, the contacts will no longer be on my phone as well as the notes. is there a way for me to transfer the contacts from the old email account to the new one so i can remove the old email account? too much spam.

My small business has recently moved to a new dedicated server and after working fine at first, I am now unable to set up any of our mailboxes on any BlackBerry device (tried Torch, Bold, Curve) on any carrier (Rogers, Bell in Canada and T-Mobile, AT&T in US). I try the basic setup (email address and password) and then when that fails, the advanced settings (which are necessary as my email username is non-standard; it is always username+example.com when the address is username@example.com and the mail server is mail.example.com). After a long "Processing..." I am told "Invalid email address and password. ... If the error persists, contact "my server" The thing is, all of these mailboxes works fine in any other email client with the same settings (Outlook, Thunderbird, iPad, etc) and as I said, worked fine a couple of times on BlackBerry before now not working at all. In a basic sense I am the administrator of my server, though I have been on with my hosting provider's support and they are baffled as well. This problem is not happening on any of their other similar hosted servers, just mine. whether there is some process, some address, something at RIM that must be permitted to communicate with my mail server tha could potentially be blocked somehow. My default mail server is Dovecot (including the BlackBerry "Fastmail" service, which worked fabulously before this started)

On my old Blackberry Pearl I was allowed to setup Gmail in the same page. What do I need to do to get Gmail setup and running?I was told that it may take a few hours for the data stuff to kick in from Verizon. I just bought the iphone 4s, as did my boyfriend. Both of us have no problem texting other people via imessage and text, but when we try to imessage one another, it comes up with two different windows. I checked the "Receive at" portion of the imessage settings, and although we both have our phone number linked to our apple id, it only shows up with email address. No Caller ID option, or phone number. The "remove email address" portion is also greyed out, and where my imessage is turned on, it says "waiting for activation." I checked with my apple id, and the email address is verified.
