During the driver install, MTP USB device fails. Four of the five catagories work just fine, but this one fails every time. I am not the only person having this problem, but I can not find this issue on the support forum.
Do i send the phone back to USCellular? Do I send the phone back to Motorola? or is there a fix for this on Microsoft or Motorola?
I had to pre-install my computer with windows 7. When I connect my nokia via USB it gives "device driver software was not successfully installed"; MTP USB device failed. I have tried contacting nokia and Microsoft in vain. I have windows media player the latest version installed as they asked me to if it is from nokia.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

View 8 Replies View RelatedI had the number changed on my phone. Everyting worked until then. I can connect in all modes except for USB Mass Storage. I have updated my drivers, enabled USB debugging, etc. It works on another Windows 7 computer, but not on my main laptop. No matter what I do, it will not find the Mass Storage drivers. Everything else works great. I have to run in Mass Storage mode to get to some files for a work app.

I can see the icon in the menu, but does not work (module not found...) and the desktop manager does not see the game installed (neither in options-advanced-applications)The problem is that now the phone has very low performance and I can barely use it, it's too slow.

I did the install and after a restart, was prompted to do several more updates: Anna 1/2, Anna 2/2, Ovi Suite, Maps and Anna Service Pack. When the update finished I was told that Anna1/2 and Ovi Store had failed, while the others were all sucessful. I have tried it several times but it fails every time.The phone appears to be working OK but the failure of Anna 1/2 is a bit worrying as I do not know the significance of it and the Ovi Store failure is annoying as I cannot launch it.
