After updating to new firmware via online. Whenever I type using the qwerty keyboard the letters do not appear in the box. Although they are there i.e. when I go back to message screen then what I have typed is there. Anyone who has same problems along with a solution please.
View 4 RepliesI got a Wifi Xoom with 3.0.1 stock firmware (like if I could have it in any other version without voiding warranty) and I'm having some problems with my Moto BT keyboard. It connects well, pairs well, types well and without lag, but from time to time, when writing things longer than an URL or a login (for example an email) one of the letters typed repeats and repeats like holding it's key. It's quite annoying, and one of the times, the repeated key was backspace, so it erased all of the text.

I'm left with the other options including the mini QWERTY but it's not the same. Tried turning off and taking the battery out but it didn't work. Any ideas? Do I need to restore factory settings I want my QWERTY back!

View 4 Replies View RelatedWell a couple of months ago, on bbm, if I was to type a message it would delete what I was saying and randomly change to symbols instead of letters, and it would be stuck on alt. Recently, I have not had the charger for three days, as my brother took it, so my phone was dead for three days. When I got the charger back and charged it up, the keyboard wouldn't work, then it would go dead even though I am pushing the button that turns it on. And the only way it does turn on is when you charge it but it lasts for 5 seconds literally. The weirdest thing is the light is still flashing?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAs the title says - updated the phone and now have no option for full screen qwerty input! Everything else working fine - just lost one of the input options, handwriting, mini-qwerty or keypad are all that are left. Annoying as qwertry input was one of the best things about it - handwriting sucks, mini-qwerty is too small and if I wanted an alpha-numeric keypad I would have got a smaller, 'traditional' phone.

I want to use my arabic qwerty keyboard.
When you type a message / email on the on screen keyboard, there used to be a key to send your message from the screen that has been taken off. now i have to slide the Tablet open and send from the keyboard. Any reason/any fixes or settings that i might have missed? or it there something i can do to correct this?

In v40 firmware, it is said that Fullscreen QWERTY keyboard has been removed. But I could see it while using Opera Mobile 10. Is there any way so that Fullscreen QWERTY keyboard option is available in other places as well, like in messaging, while using nokia browser etc.

If i try to find a word from english to vietnamese, the vietnamese equivalent word will have missing letters.For example: i search "hello" and the vietnamese shows: "xin chao: bi ___ u _ l ___ s ng ___ c nhien" (the underscores "_" are the missing letters.Anyone know how to fix this? View 9 Replies View RelatedJust updated to new firmware 51.0.006 (RM-356) Nokia 5800 and I dont know whether I am just thinking this but the phone seems faster now in operation (maybe with the firmware update it cleared cahes and whatnot maybe thats all it is) - one of the things that was supposed to be changed in the new firmware is browser changes, but I cannot seem to see any diffrerence the layout still looks the same to me. improved mail for exchange dont affect me because i dont use it, improved video call dont affect me because I dont use that, but they did list improved browser and improved performance so thats good anyway. Anyone else tried the new 51.0.006 (RM-356) yet?

In personalisation it definitely shows Contacts as what it should be opening. Any ideas to fix?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated the firmware in my phone to 31.023 and have now noted the following bugs with the MfE client with Exchange 2003:
Initial sync goes ok. After initial sync, "always on" mail times out and stops working. It does not resync 15 minutes later. A manual sync will retrieve mail. After initial sync, contact changes are no longer synced. Further contact syncs fail. If contact sync is disabled, other syncs work ok. I wish I hadn't bothered doing the update!
Just updated to the X10 and it has a qwerty keyboard which I hate. Is it possible to revert to a keyboard that looks like a phone pad (the number 2 button has the letters ABC etc).

When I search on the Nokia website I get: "Sorry, there is no software currently available for that product code via the Nokia Software Update tool". View 3 Replies View RelatedI've upgraded C7-00 from RP1.2 to Anna 25.07. It was done via WiFi from mobile itself. There is an issue with QWERTY keyboard. It is available in SMS, Calendar but not in Contacts. Here old-style keyboard is still used (which shows only possible letters from available phonebook entries). It doesn't change if I set another default language.
