My blackberry bold keyboard is locked and it will not let me type my password?There is a blue light in the upper right corner of the phone indicating it's in blue tooth mode. Any way to help unlock keyboard to change settings?

So my blackberry bold is locked and the keyboard won't respond. I've tried removing the battery but when it reboots the keyboard locks up or the screen just goes black. No water damaged has occurred.

I can't delete/press enter/anything.I have a new 9900 that I'd like to transfer the 9700's contents to. The trouble is, I can't enter the 9700's password (which I know) to unlock the 9700-with-dead-keyboard. Also - hte content is encrypted.Is there any way around this? Can I somehow enter the password via bbsak or mcp or something? Or some other tool?

Some of the keys such as the "S" and "H" keys, including the "del" key are not working. My numlock is not on and this is my only phone. Is it possible I accidentally changed a setting? Before that I did not perform the upgrade for about a year.Since this last upgrade I have a problem with clock not being updated when the keyboard is locked. This only happens when the keyboard is locked automatically (because of the inactivity). If I lock it manually then the clock is normally updated.This is so frustrating that I will change the phone for sure if it's not solved very quickly with a new software update. The clock is one of the core features of the mobile phone and such a bug can get you in troubles very quickly.

I have gone through password reset process but still blocking me with the message: Your account has been locked. Please try again after the lockout period has expired or call customer service.Any suggestions other than a call to technical desk. I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite. Incidentally, I didn't see the option after 10 tries to enter word 'blackberry' but it was late at night and frustration had kicked in. Possibly I missed that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a used iphone 2g of ebay.When I first got it, I could use all the iPod features without my sim card in.I then put my sim card in and it didnt work so I jailbroke it using PWNED i think.Now it would accept my sim card, but it showed only one little bar of service and it wouldnt place or recieve calls.I was stupid and I then clicked restore in itunes to see if that would make my service work.I have an at&t 3g sim card by the way, but I am using it w/o data plan. My problem is now it wont exit recovery mode. All I see is the screen with the itunes logo and the cable being plugged into it. All I can do it slide the bar to make an emergency call, I cant even use the iPod features. There is a little lock icon above the picture and it stills shows that tiny bar of service.What can I do to fix this? I have tried redsnow and pwned so many times now and it just all goes back to this screen.My goal is to be able to put my at&t 3g sim card in and use the phone and i will deactivate data.

Got the update last week and not enjoying it so far (have yet to do factory reset). My main problem (besides lag) is that my phone keeps going to Mute either when I grab it or whatnot, I'm not sure. I keep on Vibrate and keep it in my shirt pocket typically (at work). It seems that handling my phone I somehow change the speaker modes without knowing it. Is there any way to lock the mode so that it won't change when the phone is locked? I don't mind being able to change the volume of audio output when the screen is off but for it to be able to switch to Mute or On is not something I want.

The app itself (screen showing available books) rotates fine, as does everything else. It's just that reading a book is locked in landscape mode.
Not sure what happened, but it was working fine the last time I tried it. I've been looking for an "unlock" item for reading in the app, but cannot find one.
How I get auto-rotate (or even manual rotate) back for reading a book?
I managed to lock myself out of my Samsung galaxy s5, and now my phone is now asking for an alternative password (which I don't remember setting).
I tried going onto android/google device manager but the phone seems to have glitched from what I believe is because I put it in ultra power saving mode.
it's possible to disable ultra power saving mode while the phone is still locked.
p.s. I also rooted my phone before I became locked out of it.
iPhone failing to restart playing music after receiving a phone call?Â
In the olden days of OS7 and prior, if I were listening to music while the iphone was locked and received a phone call, the music would resume playing after the call was completed. Since OS8, that does not happen anymore.  Now, if I am listening to a music App and receive a phone call while the iphone is in lock mode, I have to unlock the iphone and restart the music App.Â
This is particularly annoying while listening to music in the car and not being able to restart the App while driving.

I am trying to trigger the voice command using bluetooth headset when my phone is locked. This doesnt happen, the only way is to unlock the phone using the slider and drawn the pattern. This is kind of irritating as one can do this basic task in any other phones. I cant find any settings to do this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI cannot dial or initiate an outgoing call using my Car's Bluetooth system, if the screen is locked. If I try to dial out using my car's system, i.e either using numbers stored in car's speed dial or voice dialing feature. it simply doe not work. But when I look at the phone and unlock the screen, phone starts dialing out.
This totally defeats the purpose of hand free Bluetooth system, in the car. I never has this issue with any other phone, including Nexus 4, Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S3 or various versions of iphone.
I have been unable to get my AT&T S5 to iniate a handsfree call from a bluetooth device if the S5 screen is locked. This is really unsafe in the car if I must pick up the phone, enter PIN or password before I can make a call. Kind of goes against the meaning of "hands free". I expected to find a screen lock bypass for "trusted" devices or something similar, but so far I have not. My bluetooth receives calls fine when locked, I just can't initiate a call.

I don't get any problems. I did the second command but it also didn't solve the issue that I can't copy files. I tried resetting to factory settings twice, didn't do anything. I tried putting it in the refrigerator but didn't do anything.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've experimented with the Apple bluetooth keyboard that came out with the iPads and it seems to work well with limitations on certain keys (ie. some keys like the volume and function keys just don't work). I'm still deciding whether it is really worth the investment...the keyboard is almost full size and is easy to type quickly on.
