An update for the home screen widget was made available and installed. Phone restarted as part of the installation. When restarted the clock on the homescreen disappeared. Cannot find option to get the clock back.

I ran the update but the next time I restarted the phone the widget was gone from my 3rd home screen (where it was is empty). I tried adding it again but it does not appear on the list of available widgets. When I go into Application Manager -> Installed Applications and view the log it says the last installed app is Nat Geo (2.03(6)). how I can get the widget back?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Music Widget does not jump correctly to the currently playing track when clicked on. It instead goes to the music library list and on top of that does not go the currently active album, but goes to the beginning of the list. Once in that state if you go back to the home screen and use the music shortcut instead, that too will mimic the widget behavior.The only way to correctly jump to the current track is to have the music player in currently playing view then go to the homescreen and use the music shortcut only. Then It behaves correctly.This is an annoying bug when one is listening to music all day at work every day.

After updating to Bella N8 has synchronized with Outlook via Nokia Suite. The Calendar shows all the dates. I have two calendars. The first calendar comes with Mail For Exchange, the second from Outlook (synchronization with the Nokia Suite). Calendar Widget only shows events from the Exchange account, and newly added to the second calendar. It does not matter whether the added element: task, meeting. I can only see those that will add to the phone. Synchronized with Outlook do not appear.

I pressed ok but it then told me I had too many things open and to go close some. I went and closed some but when I got back to the page it said it had aborted the update. As I remember in Anna version, the MMS access point setting can be find in this way, menu -> Setting -> connectivity -> Settings -> Network destinations -> MMS. In there you can set the IP of the MMS etc.

I tried removing the widget from the home screen and adding it again, but this had no effect. I checked the actual calendar application and the to-do notes and reminders are not appearing if "month view" is selected. They do however appear when viewing the calendar in either "day view" or "week view". I use the calendar for planning my life
