How do I add Email widget on the home screen? I want the notification / if possible preview of the mail as and when they arrive. When I try to add widgets, I am not able to see the email widget on the Choose Widgets option

I tried removing the widget from the home screen and adding it again, but this had no effect. I checked the actual calendar application and the to-do notes and reminders are not appearing if "month view" is selected. They do however appear when viewing the calendar in either "day view" or "week view". I use the calendar for planning my life

Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.

But for some reason when I try to add the twitter widget to the home screen or any of the screens I get the message "application not installed." This is only happening with twitter. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but same message. I did a factory reset as well but no luck. The application itself works if I go through the app itself.

I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.

1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check
in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed
2) also on the lock screen , not widget for the walkman or the sound cloud to enable me to pause the players or to navigate to the next song
In Galaxy S5, I could easily add a memo Widget to my Home screens; so far, I can't find a memo widget IN Galaxy S6. I CAN download a memo widget app--but, I'd rather use the included memo app, if possible---
View 4 Replies View RelatedPreviously had an S3 so am not completely unfamiliar with Android and Samsung phones. I cannot figure out how to add or remove a widget to any of my home pages. Anywhere there is room for an extra shortcut or widget, there is a fairly large + sign. Can add shortcuts, no prob. Shortcuts will also not move by pressing them and dragging. These issues also happen when I hit the Edit button.

When I swipe down to get all notifications, there are two separate notifications. Clicking one takes me to my regular GMail inbox, the other to something that approximates it. Anyway to just get one and if so, Id prefer the Gmail one.

I switched to Android from my Blackberry Tour. But I finally switched back because I liked Blackberry a lot more, but when I try to set up my email, it says that it is set up, but there is no home screen icon for my email, and I can't compose new emails.Any have any idea what's wrong? I did reset my phone to factory settings so it is basically brand new, and I put in a SIM card from my Sister's blackberry that she is not using (also a Tour).

On Saturday, these personal email accounts/icons all of a sudden disappear from my Home screen. I've tried reboot the bb by taking out the battery and re-inserting it.I've gone into Set up a few times to delete and re-activate them individually.I did received message back that these accounts have been successfully set up with my bb device, but their envelope icons still HAVE NOT been able to show up on the Home Screen. I've tried Hide & unhide, Show all and not Show all. Nothing works.In the Messages folders, I can see that I am receiving all emails from all my accounts However, when I go into Sound and Alert to change ring tones/sounds for Selected Profiles, under Messages - Notifiers. only Email [Desktop] shows up.How can I get back my other email accounts/icons to show up on my Home screen? It installed Mail for Exchange and everything went smoothly. After a few minutes the Email widget on the Home screen disappeared. I uninstalled Mail for Exchange and Nokia Messaging but still won't appear again. I even setup an email account using the phones integrated client and still it doesn't show up. On the screen there's only an empty field, as wide as the screen, which changes it's color on click. Right now the only email app installed is Nokia Messaging.

When I try to open my Mail icon on my IPhone 4S, there is a blank screen, then reverts back to the home screen.
I have tried the hard restart over 4 times, checked all settings. My iPad works fine. This issue started late last night after reviewing a large file.

My E63 crashed after a software update last night. I seem to have recovered most stuff, but now can't access my emails from the Active Home Screen. It shows that new emails have arrived, but when I click on the icon - nothing happens. Just stays on the home screen. I can access emails by going Menu-Installations-email, but this is a bit of a faff!
Any ideas? I'm using the Nokia Messaging email for my Hotmail account. It all went smoothly for the last year....
Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
