Jan 31, 2012i am using bb9380 curve, suddenly when i turn off my mobile because im charging then turn it on again, i cant find call button. right now i cant make a call and received as well?what i will do?

Apr 27, 2010I did all the relevant updates, desktop software to v6, and phone to 5.0.0.862, but since plugging the phone in, and then taking it out once it had done all the updates, everytime i turn the phone off then on, or battery pull, i recieve a new sms message indicator. However, the message that shows up isnt new at all, EVERYTIME, it is the last message recieved in just one conversation with one person, whether they sent it, or i did.its starting to get annoying as, if this is occuring what else could be.
Plus everytime i plug phone into laptop, and i then go into Blackberry messenger, all the conversations have been wiped and i dont seem to get updates from people.
BB Bold :: Email Accounts Not Showing On Home Screen?
May 14, 2012In addition to my Corporate email account, I have other personal email accounts activated and set up on my bb. On Saturday, these personal email accounts/icons all of a sudden disappear from my Home screen. I've tried reboot the bb by taking out the battery and re-inserting it.I've gone into Set up a few times to delete and re-activate them individually.I did received message back that these accounts have been successfully set up with my bb device, but their envelope icons still HAVE NOT been able to show up on the Home Screen. I've tried Hide & unhide, Show all and not Show all. Nothing works.In the Messages folders, I can see that I am receiving all emails from all my accounts However, when I go into Sound and Alert to change ring tones/sounds for Selected Profiles, under Messages - Notifiers. only Email [Desktop] shows up.How can I get back my other email accounts/icons to show up on my Home screen? My bb is Bold 9780.

Jul 22, 2014When I turn my phone on after it has been asleep, sometimes, I have two email notifications at the top left part. One is a gmail envelope, the other is plain. When I swipe down to get all notifications, there are two separate notifications. Clicking one takes me to my regular GMail inbox, the other to something that approximates it. Anyway to just get one and if so, Id prefer the Gmail one.

Aug 29, 2011I switched to Android from my Blackberry Tour. But I finally switched back because I liked Blackberry a lot more, but when I try to set up my email, it says that it is set up, but there is no home screen icon for my email, and I can't compose new emails.Any have any idea what's wrong? I did reset my phone to factory settings so it is basically brand new, and I put in a SIM card from my Sister's blackberry that she is not using (also a Tour).

Feb 2, 2010I'm using he Nokia Messaging (email.nokia.com) application for push email. Yesterday I added an Exchange account from my company. It installed Mail for Exchange and everything went smoothly. After a few minutes the Email widget on the Home screen disappeared. I uninstalled Mail for Exchange and Nokia Messaging but still won't appear again. I even setup an email account using the phones integrated client and still it doesn't show up. On the screen there's only an empty field, as wide as the screen, which changes it's color on click. Right now the only email app installed is Nokia Messaging.

In the beginning, I only displayed my hotmail en gmail on my homescreen. I recently (succesfully) added my work emailaddress (through exhnage/MfE), and now I want to have this emailbox to be displayed on my homescreen.
However, so far Ive only found out (through Settings - General - Personal - Standby modus - Modus settings - Emailnotofication), youre only capable of showing 2 emailboxes on your homescreen. Is there any way to get 3 emailboxes to be displayed on your homescreen?
why cant I change the name of my emailbox setup through MfE/Exchange? E.g., you can rename your gmail box to any desired name; this however isnt possible for MfE/Exchange emailadresses.

Dec 5, 2014When I try to open my Mail icon on my IPhone 4S, there is a blank screen, then reverts back to the home screen.
I have tried the hard restart over 4 times, checked all settings. My iPad works fine. This issue started late last night after reviewing a large file.

Sep 26, 2012I am using a Bold 9930 for the past year and I just recently discovered that I can no longer email pictures - my attachments for files and etc work fine. I have tried the battery - emailing from the camera - using small size pictures - checking to see if I have a data plan (YES) - emailing from the media card and the device storage with no luck. I am getting angry at the phone! The pictures can be sent to Twitter/Facebook/and of course texting. Oh I read about deleting service books and then restarting them - not sure what that means but I have a ton of files under the service books.

Jun 25, 2010My E63 crashed after a software update last night. I seem to have recovered most stuff, but now can't access my emails from the Active Home Screen. It shows that new emails have arrived, but when I click on the icon - nothing happens. Just stays on the home screen. I can access emails by going Menu-Installations-email, but this is a bit of a faff!
Any ideas? I'm using the Nokia Messaging email for my Hotmail account. It all went smoothly for the last year....

I setup the mobile email for my yahoo account but can't figure out how to open jpg files that are either attached or emedded in the email. Also is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen, it takes a lot of pressure to select the options.

Feb 28, 2015Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

Aug 26, 2010A few days ago I switched to another phone for a few days and I left my Bold with its battery removed for a day or two.When I restarted my Bold 9700, I've been unable to see or act on the home screen or apps screen. However, the phone is still working (push on the green button and the phone screen pops up), same with the long press on blackberry key.
I did search to do a reset of my handset but I can't find a way to do it knowing that I can't access the menus.

On my 9700 there is an option to change my home screen layout from "Zen" (which seems to be the default setting) to "Today" which lists my messages and calendar on my home screen. Obviously this would be much more useful on the handheld I use for work but I cannot seem to find this layout option on my 9000. Is it available?

So I am writing everything down as a memo on my BB.Is there a way to set this memo as a home screen so I am always concious of what I am spending? lol. When I had a Sony Erricson many moons ago you could set a memo as home screen and you could still see the picture I had set as the home screen but you could faintly see the text over the image if that makes sense?
I am hesitant to change one of the Shortcut Keys on the side to Memo Pad because I use them a lot for camera and calendar.

I was able to connect to the WiFi network successfully however there appeared a BB icon on the top right hand corner of the home screen next to the WiFi icon. it is not there always even when the Wifi is on, it appears sometimes and goes off and then again comes back. This is the first time am seeing this icon, can anyone let me know what is this.Also, when my Wifi is active, how do i ensure that whatever i browse is done using the WiFi and not the data service.
