I am having problems with attached pictures. I have sent pictures (taken with my Blackberry Bold 9700 built in camera) and also from picture files on my Blackberry to my home computer and the attachment won't open! It say's .jpg.attachment-blocked-or-renamed

Emails with attached files loads so slow and sometimes not at all.
I have tried to recover my phone but it didnt work.

Cannot open or download files attached to email on 950xl. Notably word and excel documents will not open or save from email attachment. I have been able to open pdf's.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do i get pics off my bb onto my laptop?I put the usb cable into my laptop then the other end into my bb, then it said insert the disk that came with the bb, which i did.It says its successfully installed the software, but i cant find nothing on my laptop.I thought it would be the same process as with a digi camera, plug the usb into your laptop and camera then a pop up comes up saying do you wanna put pics from your cam to your laptop.What am i missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI used to have a nokia n95 a few years back, I no longer have it. But I found a load of old files in a folder labelled 'nokia n95 phone messages' stored on my comp. As the folder name suggests, they're phone messages (I assume so anyway) ! I now want to open these messages but cant find a way to do so! I have downloaded the nokia suite 3.2.100 and tried to open them in there, but to no avail. How I could open these files on windows?!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just can't send emails with attached files. Not ir Email app not it GMAIL app. No matter the size of the file.
I go to the out tray in Email app, and displays a button: Send messages. I click it, it goes "Sending messages..." Then back to the square one. No error message, no nothing. The same with the gMAIL app just that there is no button, just stays in the out tray. However when I forward an email with attached content it would send alright, but no if I attach the file myself, or "Insert" from gallery.
I have a Galaxy S5 with lots of pictures attached to text messages. When I attach my phone to my PC and search for those pictures, I cannot locate them. Only see the camera shots I took in the DCIM subfolders.
Want to download them to my computer to print.
When I take pictures on my 9700 the pictures don't save under my media file and cannot send to bbm contacts or email.

The Home screen on my Blackberry Bold 9780 doesn't have the descriptions under each icons (for example; Text Messages icon has TEXT MESSAGES written under it), but this one (in the picture) from Blackberry website has it. i've been looking for the settings, but couldn't seem to find it. I hope someone could tell me how to do it.

The problem I am having now is that when I connect my phone by usb to my laptop, it no longer opens my files on the BB or even gives me the option. The technical person in my cellular provider said that the BB phone actualy does not support that type of files.

I found this picture of the Tour 2 9650 splitting with the 9700 Bold to show the differences between of the Bold 9650 if it stays the same without changes, this is what the difference would be compared to the Bold 9700.as you can see, the only difference if the Bold 9650 stays the same as we see here when the final release comes, is that the Bold 9650 has a somewhat larger bezel VS the 9700 Bold. Other then that, you can see from the pic, nothing else is different on the face of the phones in looks.just thought it was pretty interesting(left side is the 9650, right side is the 9700.

Got a new Bold today. On the BB I replaced, when I opened the homescreen, six icons appeared along the bottom. If I wanted to see all my icons I clicked the bear claw and they all showed up (so, one click). On my Bold, six icons appear along the bottom when I open it, as well, but in order to see all my icons, I now have to click the bear claw, then click "open tray," so twice the number of clicks - a small but really annoying difference. Can you tell me how I can avoid that first step and automatically open the "tray" when I click the bear claw when I am on on the homepage?

I don't even get an error, the msg just stays open with sending. I try again with a picture i took a few days ago and it goes through, i try a different picture i downloaded from the web and it's a no go.......

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy BB Bold 9700 with ATT is changing my wife contact picture I saved there to her Facebook profile picture. Yes I have the facebook app on my BB Bold 9700 with ATT. Wouldn't be so bad but it has me in there too and I am twice her size so I see me. Yes I know what's the big deal, you know who's calling, but it is aggravating that this is happening every time she calls me. I change it back to the saved picture and save her picture, then she calls and up pops her facebook profile picture.Do any of you know what I can do to fix this without removing the faceboof app?

I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. I have even opened my windows manager and manually tried to enter the BB to find and search for the pictures and nothing comes up.
