BB Bold 9650 :: Split Phone Picture With Bold 9700

I often hear many people complaining or wanting to have the Bold 9650 look like the Bold 9700. I found this picture of the Tour 2 9650 splitting with the 9700 Bold to show the differences between of the Bold 9650 if it stays the same without changes, this is what the difference would be compared to the Bold 9700.as you can see, the only difference if the Bold 9650 stays the same as we see here when the final release comes, is that the Bold 9650 has a somewhat larger bezel VS the 9700 Bold. Other then that, you can see from the pic, nothing else is different on the face of the phones in looks.just thought it was pretty interesting(left side is the 9650, right side is the 9700.
How do i get pics off my bb onto my laptop?I put the usb cable into my laptop then the other end into my bb, then it said insert the disk that came with the bb, which i did.It says its successfully installed the software, but i cant find nothing on my laptop.I thought it would be the same process as with a digi camera, plug the usb into your laptop and camera then a pop up comes up saying do you wanna put pics from your cam to your laptop.What am i missing?
I finally got a chance to hold and try both models side by side, and it's amazing what a difference the extra 2mm width of the 9650 makes to the keyboard. It is considerably better and more like the original Bold 9000.
Blackberry make a mistake in shrinking down the Bold 9700 too much. It really should be a few mm wider to optimise the keyboard - which is one of the key diferentiating features of the Bold series. The extra size would also prevent Blackberry losing valuable corporate customers who really need a great keyboard and don't mind a more substantial device.
Im super siked the the 9650 has arrived and im ready to get rid of the 8330, but with every smartphone of mine i've always had a black silicone smooth skin and a screen protector so if i buy a tour 9630 skin and screen protector will they fit on the bold 9650 right?
whats the difference between these two phones. At present I have a Bold 9000, which I love dearly.However, I want to upgrade soon,I just want to know what am getting into. So once again just what are the differences if any between the two?
I can send MMS fine when it's a picture i take from the camera but if i save a picture from the web, either with opera mini or native web browser and attach it to a MMS, i can't send it. I don't even get an error, the msg just stays open with sending. I try again with a picture i took a few days ago and it goes through, i try a different picture i downloaded from the web and it's a no go.......
Can someone please tell me how to unhide a picture? Everywhere I looked said hit Explore from Menu key in Media but on the 9700 there is no explore option under the Menu key when I'm in Media.
My BB Bold 9700 with ATT is changing my wife contact picture I saved there to her Facebook profile picture. Yes I have the facebook app on my BB Bold 9700 with ATT. Wouldn't be so bad but it has me in there too and I am twice her size so I see me. Yes I know what's the big deal, you know who's calling, but it is aggravating that this is happening every time she calls me. I change it back to the saved picture and save her picture, then she calls and up pops her facebook profile picture.Do any of you know what I can do to fix this without removing the faceboof app?
I used to have a Bold 9700. When I listened to music with headphones, incoming message alerts would sound over the music through the headphones. With the 9650, the song pauses, and then the message alert sound comes out of the speaker instead of the headphones, then the music resumes. Is there a setting I am missing here?
My phone is 3 days old and did not have issues until last night. The browser allows me to initally connect ot a webpage, but will not allow me to click on any links. The cursor switches appropriately when just navigating vs. hovering over a link, but the track pad will not regist any "clicks".Has anyone encountered this or know of the fix?
Tried to add pictures to one of contacts; but the picture will disappear after a while. Is there any trick? Should I rename picture to certain wording?
In my media section I have 2 folders, one named Camera Pictures and one named Picture Library. I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. I have even opened my windows manager and manually tried to enter the BB to find and search for the pictures and nothing comes up.
how do i stop pictures that i've put into folders from coming up when i click 'all pictures?' My boyfriend has a blackberry and the only pictures that come up when he clicks 'all pictures' are the ones he hasn't got in any folder. Is there a way that i can do the same thing? It's a little irritating, to be honest.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to have a seperate folders and be able to hide them and store pics In them I was also wondering how to if possible make ur pictures password protected meaning you would need a password to see the pics you know for those sneaky folks!
Wondering if any of u have gotten ur verizon 9650? If so have u noticed ur trackpad left side being higher than right? I ask becuz as we all may know the sprint 9650 has that. Doesn't bother me...nor do I think its defect.
Just got my 9700 a few weeks ago. The screen is fantastic, the pictures & photos that I transferred to my SD card are shown on the screen with razor sharpness. At least for a while. Then I noticed that when I viewed the photos again from Media -> Pictures, the photos becomes less sharp and appear heavily compressed. This is for both the thumbnail view and the fullscreen sroll view. Does anyone noticed this?
But when I click on Fit to Screen or View Actual Size, the photos become razor sharp again. How do I get the photos to appear razor sharp in the fullscreen scroll view (where I can scroll left and right for next/previous photo)?
If there are no solution to the above, is there any 3rd party app that will allow us to view the photos in fullscreen (and can be scrolled left or right) in full razor sharpness?
i have a problem with my Blackberry Messenger, it was fine when the phone was new but now it have 3 weeks and the problem begin, it is not showing my contacts profile pictures and they canīt see my picture, it is very annoying y have already installed and upgrade the phone software and the BBM and nothing work,
For some reason no ones display picture is showing up on my contact list. I have deleted and re install it and it still does not show up. I have even added myslef to see if my picture shows up!.
Since my contract is up on Sunday (for me and my mom anyways, my dads isn't until october, so they are making us pay the early termination fee or go without a phone for 3 months, oh and this is Verizon i'm talking about, but you probably could've guessed that) and I am thinking about either getting a bold 9650 or curve 8530 for Sprint, since Verizon makes you add $30 onto each blackberry(crooks). But I was looking at the features and I would like the Bold but for some reason the cheapest I can find it is $99, while the Bold for Verizon I can find for free. My question is, is the Bold a lot better, enough to spend 100 dollars instead of 50? and why is it that I can find the Verizon bold for free but not for Sprint?
I am going to switch to Sprint, coming from AT&T (iPhone 3G) and I'm currently looking to buy a BlackBerry. I will mostly use it for BBM and not necesarily for web browsing. Which is best for me, the Curve 8530 which is free or the Bold which costs $150?
I searched but could not find an answer so I apologize if this has been brought up before.I was one of the fortunate group that was able to exchange a defective tour for a brand new in box bold. I was going through the device switch wizard today when I happened to be holding both devices side by side. I noticed that the screen on the bold is significantly more yellow than that of the tour. I have not noticed this issue discussed previously.Do I have a defective unit or is this the standard bold screen? Thanks for any input/info you can give. This just started happening on Saturday night. I would press the red phone button to turn off my phone and within 15-25 seconds my phone reboots itself. I have the Bold 9650 OS 5.0.0.699. Also on Sunday afternoon I dialed *228 (Verizon) to update my roaming capabilities.it was successful and after about 30 seconds by phone rebooted itself. Yes, I have done a battery pull.
I am trying to be proactive here. I have a Tour 960 and am waiting for the 9650. I understand there is a Device Transfer Wizard in DM. My question is what do I do first? Do I activate the phone with Sprint first and then use the Device transfer Wizard to move my applications from the old to the new phone or vice versa? I now sync to Outlook so am not concerned about calendar or contacts.
I'm just bought bold 9650 yesterday, internet connection is good, incoming call and outgoing call work clearly, but i can't send any sms to any other number, it always failed and got a Red X with warning "Invalid Mandatory Information".I know that because a wrong sms center number. But the problem is, I cannot found where to set this sms center number on Bold 9650. I have looking for in setting menu.In the sms text setting, the only option is :
- Conversation Style
- Show Names
- Press Enter Key To Send
- Delivery Report
- Data Coding (default is Ascii)
- Priority
- Callback Number (default is 000000000000?
- Disable AutoText
How to setting the sms center number is? Please help me friend.
