Mar 31, 2010I'm willing to accept this could be an issue with my media software transferring the MP3s (MediaMonkey - an otherwise excellent application), so I'm asking this question on their forum too.I've recently synced a load of MP3 files from my main PC to my X6 Mass Storage via USB.For some reason, most of the albums have had the album art images reduced in size enormously so they look really blurred and ugly.Is this a known issue with the X6, or perhaps a problem with my media software?

Nov 19, 2012I have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.

Apr 23, 2010Is there a direct relationship between the size of the applications being loaded on the Blackberry and the amount of free memory? I had around 90 MB of free space on the device, and then proceeded to load a handful of applications. I haven't done the exact math, but I think I loaded around 5 MB of applications. The free memory has gone down by around 15 to 20 MB. Is there some sort of file management issue that "wastes" memory on the Blackberry? I have tried all the usual tricks to free up memory - running Memory Cleaner, running Memory Booster, clearing all cached items in various applications, pulling the battery. Still, free memory remains below 70 MB.

Feb 20, 2010I am currently using a BB 9700 Bold and unable to attach when sending email a file with size more than 5 Kb.Everytime I try to use a attachment more than 5 Kb, I am getting to following message : Total attachment size exeeds the maximum allowed size.
1. Is there any way to fix that?
2. What is the maximum size of attachment that can be used?
BB Bold 9650 :: Split Phone Picture With Bold 9700
Apr 5, 2010I often hear many people complaining or wanting to have the Bold 9650 look like the Bold 9700. I found this picture of the Tour 2 9650 splitting with the 9700 Bold to show the differences between of the Bold 9650 if it stays the same without changes, this is what the difference would be compared to the Bold 9700.as you can see, the only difference if the Bold 9650 stays the same as we see here when the final release comes, is that the Bold 9650 has a somewhat larger bezel VS the 9700 Bold. Other then that, you can see from the pic, nothing else is different on the face of the phones in looks.just thought it was pretty interesting(left side is the 9650, right side is the 9700.

Mar 3, 2010I can send MMS fine when it's a picture i take from the camera but if i save a picture from the web, either with opera mini or native web browser and attach it to a MMS, i can't send it. I don't even get an error, the msg just stays open with sending. May 25, 2010My BB Bold 9700 with ATT is changing my wife contact picture I saved there to her Facebook profile picture. Yes I have the facebook app on my BB Bold 9700 with ATT. Wouldn't be so bad but it has me in there too and I am twice her size so I see me. May 24, 2011In my media section I have 2 folders, one named Camera Pictures and one named Picture Library. I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. I have even opened my windows manager and manually tried to enter the BB to find and search for the pictures and nothing comes up.

Oct 4, 2010I took picture with Large resolution and Superfine quality. Strangely, after some viewing (+zooming in/out) of the pictures taken, I found the pictures' resolution had changed to Small! I tested this by taking another picture, viewing it, making sure the resolution is large, then closing the Media Apps, and reopening and viewing the picture again. It happened again after the second viewing if I did some zooming in/out.I am very upset that some pictures are now have small resolutions and I can't trust viewing through Media Apps again before copying the files first to my computer.Is this a bug or is there something I did wrong while viewing pictures?
