View 5 Replies View RelatedApologies if this was already threaded. I know that many people each have their own preferences but it seemed like for the most part people liked the bigger screen that the 9000 offered. Why did RIM reduce the screen size for the 9700? Will we ever see a blackberry (besides touchscreens) that will have a bigger size again??

View 8 Replies View RelatedAnyone know of a way to save an email message as an archived image on a media card. It is a pain to try and keep track of sent / received emails and then print to pdf from a computer later on. I need to archive outgoing and incoming emails as digital images with dates -- "c_06_03_2010_a.pdf" would be the first email I generated today to the client.

View 4 Replies View Related...and not have them save in the phone itself (in the "Gallery" app)?
I have them all backed up to Google Photos and don't need them also on my phone.
Amazing feature...now..not only can you backup your contacts as a BB file but you can save them on your PC as normal contacts which have full details (email, numbers, etc.)
You can download version 6 here >>> https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...247A852FAD3647
Living 5 mins. away from RIM in Waterloo I got myself a BB Bold 9700 2 weeks ago. Dataplan and everything from Rogers. Much to my aggravation I'm unable to send photos via MMS - I'm sure I'm doing it right as I followed the instructions while on the phone w. the IT BB specialist at the University of Waterloo. I was able to send a photo to her but to nobody else which includes a BB user neighbour, my son on Telus in Vancouver, a friend w. a Bell plan on a Palm. What gives? I could send a photo lickety split on my previous Motorola and I didn't even have a data plan. I'm sooooo frustrated. I tried to send the MMS with the photo in the "small" picture setting.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a Blackberry newbie. My family just took a great vacation to Disney and I used my BB Bold 9700 to take some fantastic photos. My question is: Is it possible to transfer those photos to my PC somehow? If so, can you please share the secret with me? I can't figure it out.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi've had my 9700 for a few days now, but the screen continues to amaze me. it's really down to the super high pixel density - but everything just looks amazing on it!!! i converted a few dvd's to h.264 format to watch on it, and even these regular dvd's look like hd on this little thing!!! i'm just amazed... photos from website look so vivid! and i've had iphones since 07 (a 2g, then a 3gs), and nexus one for a couple weeks (returned it - too many issues). i will say the 9700 screen, despite being small, still looks better than the famed oled nexus screen... if a bold style screen gets released by rim in oled/amoled version... watch out!!! now, if only there was a way to get high quality Internet vids to show up on it (rather than the horrendously jaggedy low res versions...)
View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to transfer photos from my Blackberry Bold to my Mac Book.I see threads about doing this for Curves and Pearls, but not Bolds. Is there anyone out there who has a sequential, step by step about how to do this? It seems like the Media Sync I downloaded is just in fact part of the Desktop Manager, which doesn't have anything on the interface about transferring photos (just music). This device takes such great pictures I'd love to see them on my computer
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to delete photos in my "Pictures" whether it's under "All pictures" or "Picture Folders". I hit the menu key, and there is no "delete" option to select. I used to be able to delete, but now am unable to. Did batt. pull already and restart. Same problem. The only way I can now delete photos is through manager via a computer.Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe size of photos taken by my Lumia 950 is about only 4 to 5 MB although I set it to JPEG(16 MP) . Another confusing point is that their dimensions are about 3000*5400 which roughly gives 15 MP not 20 MP!!
Apart from the size and dimensions, the quality of photos also do not sound superb in general, there are just fairly good, so I guess that something might be wrong.
I can take great high res photos but every time I ask to email it says "the attachment file maybe reduced in size" this doesn't happen in Facebook or when I bbm the photo and I never had this happen with my old Tour phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Cosmos from Verizon and so far I love it. Just having a bit of a problem figuring out how to send full size photos to my PC. I tried one at 1280x960 landscape and it auto resizes before I can send it anywhere.I took another 1280x960 portrait and it will send full size to my email addy.I haven't experimented a lot yet, but I'm thinking the landscape orientation used too much file size for the network so it auto resizes. Is there a way to decrease the file size a bit without decreasing the resolution? I need to send pics to my email that are at least 1024x768.Auto resizing is BAD.
