Just got my BB Bold 9700 and set up my email acoounts. I can receive emails no problem, but am unable to reply. It only lets me compose them then save to drafts.
View 4 RepliesI have noticed that i am unable to send an email to a person if i enter the email in the TO: section of the compose email. If i am replying to an email or clicking on a link like craigslist it works fine. If i am sending the email to a contact with a stored email address it works fine.
But if i just enter the email address for instance JRSpero@gmail.com the little send box in the upper right corner is not bright and is not able to be selected.
I have run into a massive problem with my BB email.I can compose/send and receive email pushed to my phone but I cannot seem to REPLY to messages by hitting reply. Instead I receive an error saying that I can only compose a draft. Now this only happens when I am replying to an already pushed email. I have already tried resending service books and resending HRT.
View 9 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedRandomly a few days ago, when composing emails I noticed my address book doesn't seem to be 'looked up'i.e. when I type in the To: box, the letter A or Ada...'Adam Smith' doesn't appear in the suggested contacts. None of my contacts appear at all!
This 'lookup' functions works fine for SMS but not email emails.I've updated with the latest software already

I switched mit 8310 with a new 8900 (Vodafone Germany with OS5) and i am very confused about the new SMS-View. For me SMS is very important, but now it is not fully usable, because i can not write SMS-Drafts (10-20) with this new s**t Chat-Bubble-Thing. How can i switch to the old View and use SMS like it is on the 8310? My main-Problem is the Draft-Functionality .

When I reply to an email, is there any way of setting so that the icon next to message in the inbox shows that I have replied to a message? i.e. a little arrow to show the message has been replied to. I am finding it difficult to see what I have replied to an what I have not...Also, is there no "sent" box as such?

I've read many, many solutions found on the internet all day today to the point I am exhausted, so I have no other choice than to take some of your valuable time to assist me. I did the Options/Advanced/Service Book delete and restore CMIME trick and no change.

I've got a Bold 9780 and I am able to send and receive emails but when I try to reply to an email I can type new text in the reply but don't get a send button on the screen. I get; change application, save draft and full menu buttons. I'm not using enterprise - just regular. I took my phone to 2 Rogers location last night and they hadn't seen this issue before. Not sure if anyone's facing the same problem as mine, but my old SMS (text messages) auto turned into blank drafts. Almost all my old messages are now missing.

From the Contacts List I press a contact, then Menu, then there is a Copy to SIM Phone Book and when I press Enter or the trackpad, nothing happens. I go to my SIM Phone Book and see that it has not been saved. Any ideas on how I can save to SIM card? I am running 5.0.0.442.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading iOS, every time I try to compose an email through mail I'm finding the screen "bounces" whilst typing. Also when I get below the level of my keypad I can no longer see what I'm typing. I try scrolling the screen up but as soon as I let go of the screen it returns to its previous position. The keypad no longer hides either so I can review more of the email at once. I've checked my gmail up and that still functions perfectly so feel it must be an iOS problem.

When trying to take a video, the camera starts but when you try and record it gives the msg.: Unexpected error, unable to save video.I have tried several reboots both soft and hard and continue to get this message.The video did work when I got the phone several months ago. can still take pictures and save... just not video...
Amazing feature...now..not only can you backup your contacts as a BB file but you can save them on your PC as normal contacts which have full details (email, numbers, etc.)
