My bb don't recognize anymore the save screen password and instead to write this (*) it show letters and now i can't use it anymore because I did already 9 attempts and on the 10th it will erase all the info inside the mobile. I really don't know what to do!
View 1 RepliesMy battery was going on my phone so I went and got the charger and on my return my phone had died. I plugged this in and gave it the 5 mins to charge up a bit. However when this had loaded and turned on - my screen was locked. I clicked the side button to unlock this which asked me to type my password in! It wont allow me to typeit in .... its like my phone doesnt pick up the buttons I am pressing. After turning this on and off several times whilst also taking the sim card out etc etc it still wont allow me to do get in my phone.

When trying to take a video, the camera starts but when you try and record it gives the msg.: Unexpected error, unable to save video.I have tried several reboots both soft and hard and continue to get this message.The video did work when I got the phone several months ago. can still take pictures and save... just not video...
My boyfriend has had his Flipside for almost a year now. He has an ongoing issue getting the screen to unlock for incoming calls. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. He does not have any apps installed and, since the problem is intermittant, it's hard to figure out why the unlock slide doesn't work. I'd like for him to be able to unlock it with a different method, maybe by using the slide out keyboard. Any fixes/tips for this? It doesn't seem to be related to having water or grease on the screen

I can lock the keypad using the A button or the button on the top left of the phone, but the only way I can unlock the keypad is by restarting the phone. 2. Install application. I use the Blackberry Desktop Software to see what applications I have and the upgrade seems to have uninstalled most applications. But now it won't let me re-install them, which also means that I can't get any applications from App world.

Latest android 2.1 on phone, have tried repairing this and using service / app killers. It is not a dirty screen as often once you have missed the call you can unlock the screen easily.

I get the password prompt but upon entering the password it just goes back to the locked screen with the padlock.Using Alt + Back button I can scroll through a number of open apps but can not open or close them it, then freezes and displays a white screen until I pull the battery.
Numerous battery pulls later and still no joy.The only change on my device yesterday was a number of failed attempts to download Docs to Go ver 2.0 from the App World yesterday. My BB does a scheduled battery pull each night at 2am and the phone has been like that since the last scheduled pull (forget the name of the app).
Edit to highlight - I know the password is working as it re-prompts if I type it in incorrectly on purpose and after 2 attempts asks me to type in Blackberry.

i just know when i send it to get repaired, everything will prob be wiped clean.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy BB has been working fine. It's set to ask for a password if its been untouched for 10 mins and I've never had a problem with that. I do sometimes lock the keyboard by pushing the button top left, but again that's never been a problem. Right now the screen is blank. If I push the ball or any keys, nothing happens. If I plug in a charger the clock comes up, but still nothing works. If I remove the charger I then briefly see the screen and if I'm lucky pushing the ball brings up the "device is locked" screen with options saying unlock, emergency or cancel - but it stubbornly refuses to respond to pressing anything else, goes dim and then goes blank again. The battery has lots of power (it wasn't flat but has been charging anyway) and I've tried removing both the battery and sim card several times - all without success.

It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.

I have already tried to configure my settings to minimise the picture size and to set the saving to the media card. Does not work.
