View 2 RepliesI recently purchased BB Torch 9860 with OS 7 and configured by personal and work email on BIS. I am receiving emails only in text format. In some emails with images that have hyperlink, I just see a link and images not displayed. All the images comes as an attachment in the email. My friend having another BB Torch is able to view emails as HTML. But he is with BES.
Is there any solution for my issue? I am not receiving any options in the email preference to enable HTML format for emails.
How can I retain the HTML format when sending email? In a similar way, I want my emails to go in HTML format from my iPhone. As of now, it goes as text type and I did not like the font. I wanted to go as Arial.

Randomly a few days ago, when composing emails I noticed my address book doesn't seem to be 'looked up'i.e. when I type in the To: box, the letter A or Ada...'Adam Smith' doesn't appear in the suggested contacts. None of my contacts appear at all!
This 'lookup' functions works fine for SMS but not email emails.I've updated with the latest software already

To add to my complaints for the Blackberry 9650 (internet browser problems, forced to use Bing, 5 minute boot-up time), the blackberry runs very very slow. Constant hour glasses. Compose an email results in an hourglass (not all of the time,
Feels like Blackberry is turning more into Microsoft than apple. Instead of quality improvements, we get more powerful hardware that runs slower with unpredictable feature availability and an eye for $ for sake of purely $. FWIW, I upgraded to 9650 from the original Bold with AT&T in late 2008. I am nervous about how slow the 9650 will be in 2 years if its this slow out of the gate.
I have run into a massive problem with my BB email.I can compose/send and receive email pushed to my phone but I cannot seem to REPLY to messages by hitting reply. Instead I receive an error saying that I can only compose a draft. Now this only happens when I am replying to an already pushed email. I have already tried resending service books and resending HRT.
View 9 Replies View RelatedApologies if this has been asked before. When I get an HTML email with images, the images show up as attachments. I have "Enable HTML Email" turned on. I am running 5.0.0.330, I have no idea what version of BES we are on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading iOS, every time I try to compose an email through mail I'm finding the screen "bounces" whilst typing. Also when I get below the level of my keypad I can no longer see what I'm typing. I try scrolling the screen up but as soon as I let go of the screen it returns to its previous position. The keypad no longer hides either so I can review more of the email at once. I've checked my gmail up and that still functions perfectly so feel it must be an iOS problem.

Contacts will autofill when I sent a sms or mms text but DO NOT autofill when I try to compose an email. In addition, if I type the email address out I am not given the option to "send" the email. So right now all I can do is reply to emails. Has anyone had this problem? This just started yesterday. I am running .591
View 6 Replies View Relatedmy Blackberry Curve 8530 CANNOT compose new emails: it can reply to emails that people have sent me, it can compose emails to people whose emails I already have saved, yet if I try to "Compose Email" and enter a new address, it can only "Save Draft." Not only that, I can't email or MMS any of my photos either-- either TO a new email, or a preexisting contact/email--the only way to get them off of my phone is if I "send to Facebook," or copy them to my computer using a micro-USB cord.A battery pull has NOT worked. I've also already come across people posting on other sites about the same problem (and there seems to be a similar issue with the 8520). I've come across other websites suggesting that the problem may be to an issue with the OS (I'm currently on v5.0.0.654 Bundle 1108, Platform 4.2.0.298; I certainly haven't downloaded/installed any new Apps since this happened), and that downgrading/changing to a different OS may be necessary to fix/troubleshoot the issue, I just don't recall which website that was, nor do I know how to change the OS on my own (if I remember correctly, it just updates itself automatically, which probably would explain why this seemed to happen out of the blue).
View 7 Replies View RelatedNew HTC One M8. Some of my emails state this. I checked the same email on my MAC and it displays fine. So I'm guessing that it is a problem with the email app on the phone and not my provider. I tried to increase the mail size limit, but that didn't work. I don't see any settings for enabling HTML.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAs stated in the title, besides "Empower", is there any other add-in's or suggestions to allow for a better HTML email experience on a Bold 9650?I can use Bolt or Opera to access the web email portal and get the full email via the browser, but that's a bit cumbersome and I'd rather just use the messaging folder instead. Thoughts or suggestions?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia E5 and have just updated (through Nokia Suite beta) the email application from 3.16.0 to 3.21.0. Since then all of my messages which contain html code are displayed as is, without the phone parsing the code. What I mean is instead of normal writing I just get html code.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI suddenly cannot see the contents, text or HTML, in any of my email. I am relatively new to Blackberry. I am using a Torch and I think that I may have accidently set something. I hate touch screens! Anyway, I see the sender name and subject, but no message in the body.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that i am unable to send an email to a person if i enter the email in the TO: section of the compose email. If i am replying to an email or clicking on a link like craigslist it works fine. If i am sending the email to a contact with a stored email address it works fine.
But if i just enter the email address for instance JRSpero@gmail.com the little send box in the upper right corner is not bright and is not able to be selected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Tour (Verizon) last week to OS 5.0. Since the upgrade I have been unable to view HTML emails. The body of the email provides the text/link to the images along with a lot of text I do not understand. I don't even get the links to "get image" or "view image on a web page". I made sure the settings were correct (i.e. enable HTML email, download images automatically) and the issue persisted. Battery pull did not work, deleting and resending service books did not work. Through searches on this forum and others it appears that this is not an isolated problem. Is there a fix that I am not aware of? I am close to wiping the phone clean and going back to OS 4.7, but I like all other features that came with 5.0.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThis used to work on my Droid and Droid 2. I receive an HTML email, which appears as 3 attachments, 2 text and one HTML. If I click on either of the TXT attachments I'm offered the choice of HTML Viewer or QuickOffice to view them. However when I click on the HTML attachment (the actual mail body) it goes straight to the browser, which tries to opencontent://com.motorola.blur.service.email.engine.EmailProvider/bodyparts/file/3/329_5.attand drops me into a google search browser window "did not match any documents". IOW it cannot find that file/location.
It's as if the email tool is creating an address (storage location) for the attachment that the browser doesn't recognize; or that it is creating one but passing a different handle to the HTML reader. Over a variety of emails the pattern is .../file/x/yyy_5.att.sing "Files" I can't find anything that looks like these attachment files, apparently it is below user visibility. can save the attachment into Messages then view it with the HTML Viewer; but I don't want to do that a dozen times a day.
I'm a little underwhelmed with the Gmail application on the Atrix. After coming from an Iphone one of the glaring deficiencies with this mail app is that I cannot resize html email content. I don't see any other options for mail on this phone, am I stuck with this app for mail? Is it part of the MotoBlur suite? I like the MotoBlur messaging tools or not. I want to like it because it seems like a great idea but it also seems a bit too cumbursome and non-intuitive. I'll try it a bit longer to see if it grows on me or not.
