I'm unable to delete photos in my "Pictures" whether it's under "All pictures" or "Picture Folders". I hit the menu key, and there is no "delete" option to select. I used to be able to delete, but now am unable to. Did batt. pull already and restart. Same problem. The only way I can now delete photos is through manager via a computer.Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

View 4 Replies View RelatedLiving 5 mins. away from RIM in Waterloo I got myself a BB Bold 9700 2 weeks ago. Dataplan and everything from Rogers. Much to my aggravation I'm unable to send photos via MMS - I'm sure I'm doing it right as I followed the instructions while on the phone w. the IT BB specialist at the University of Waterloo. I was able to send a photo to her but to nobody else which includes a BB user neighbour, my son on Telus in Vancouver, a friend w. a Bell plan on a Palm. What gives? I could send a photo lickety split on my previous Motorola and I didn't even have a data plan. I'm sooooo frustrated. I tried to send the MMS with the photo in the "small" picture setting.

Sample Pictures
I have set a folder to store pics in on my media card. After moving all the pics to that folder I go back and under the tab All Pictures those same pictures that I moved to the folder on my media card are there also. I tried to delete those but it says the pictures are in use. How do I remove the pictures from the All Pictures folder? Also is there anyway to delete the Sample Pictures?
With computers I know you should un-install programs carefully and a certain way..I was wondering with my blackberry, is there a deifference weather I delete an App using my device, or using the Desktop Manager? Is one safer in the long run?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've tried to research this elsewhere for a couple of days but haven't got Blackberry Bold 9700 is the phone, and I have hooked up to my outlook account using pop3 account because direct into exchange server is not an option. I get emails and can send emails, no problem. If I delete emails from BB, they delete in outlook BUT not the other way round. So if I delete emails in outlook they do not delete from my phone.
I DON'T run cache exchange mode on outlook, and therefore the emails I read on my outlook are not on a local pst folder. I have enabled wireless reconcile Having recently moved from HTC (using Windows Mobile 6.1 which works a dream with outlook obviously) to BB I am terrified I have tied myself into 2 years of hell,

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an unlocked Bold 9700 running OS 5 that I used briefly with an international SIM card service from the UK, and then abroad with a totally different provider (on a corporate enterprise plan). I recently re-established residence in the US and am allowing my son to use the BB for now. We have a new SIM from AT&T that has never had a BB account provisioned on it. I did a full security wipe on the phone. The phone is still receiving mail from a yahoo.com account. When I go to Setup -> Personal Email Setup and then click "back" (so as not to set up a new account) I get a message "An email address does not currently exist for your Blackberry device" -- and yet I am still receiving messages on the yahoo.com account and can reply, check out folders, etc. When I check the Service Books, there is no listing for any service book associated with the email account; indeed, no CMIME listing at all.How can I remove email access to the yahoo.com account from this phone? How in the world is it still receiving emails?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi've had my 9700 for a few days now, but the screen continues to amaze me. it's really down to the super high pixel density - but everything just looks amazing on it!!! i converted a few dvd's to h.264 format to watch on it, and even these regular dvd's look like hd on this little thing!!! i'm just amazed... photos from website look so vivid! and i've had iphones since 07 (a 2g, then a 3gs), and nexus one for a couple weeks (returned it - too many issues). i will say the 9700 screen, despite being small, still looks better than the famed oled nexus screen... if a bold style screen gets released by rim in oled/amoled version... watch out!!! now, if only there was a way to get high quality Internet vids to show up on it (rather than the horrendously jaggedy low res versions...)

It seems like the Media Sync I downloaded is just in fact part of the Desktop Manager, which doesn't have anything on the interface about transferring photos (just music).This device takes such great pictures I'd love to see them on my computer

Suddenly this morning the wifi stop working. I'm unable to switch the wifi on even clicking on it many times. I have replace the last 4 digits of my cell phone number with ****. I only use the regular VM and want to stop VVM from running in the background on my 9700 and want to delete it!
I just got my new Bold 9700 and the included 2 GB memory card is showing up as almost full. Through Media Manager I see the culprit is a bunch of backup files, including a file called ArcNB.NBZ (this file alone is 1.5 GB). Anyone know why this is on here? Can I safely delete it along with other backup files?

When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.

I hate the prompt that asks whether you want to delete messages on mailbox and handheld. I don't use BES so the message is just a hassle.I had no problem figuring out how to remove the prompt on the 9000 - messages>options>email reconciliation.
