I was going through my memorie card and I was attempting to delete pictures. I would click delete and the message "the selected file is read only.are you sure you wish to delete file" I click yes and the picture is still there.

All Pictures
Picture Folders
Sample Pictures
I have set a folder to store pics in on my media card. After moving all the pics to that folder I go back and under the tab All Pictures those same pictures that I moved to the folder on my media card are there also. I tried to delete those but it says the pictures are in use. How do I remove the pictures from the All Pictures folder? Also is there anyway to delete the Sample Pictures?
Just like it says, I'm not able to delete pics off my 16 gb card. Actually its more then that. When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.

I used to be able to delete, but now am unable to. Did batt. pull already and restart. Same problem. The only way I can now delete photos is through manager via a computer.Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

When it did restart, most of the files had to be redownloaded. All except one. The downloads list claims that the file has been saved. The video plays bt isnt completely downloaded.The problem now is that i cant delete the video through the file manager. The error msg says web:already in use.. When i tried deleting the file from the downloads list of the web browser, there was a similar msg.

I get emails and can send emails, no problem. If I delete emails from BB, they delete in outlook BUT not the other way round. So if I delete emails in outlook they do not delete from my phone.
I DON'T run cache exchange mode on outlook, and therefore the emails I read on my outlook are not on a local pst folder. I recently re-established residence in the US and am allowing my son to use the BB for now. We have a new SIM from AT&T that has never had a BB account provisioned on it. I did a full security wipe on the phone. The phone is still receiving mail from a yahoo.com account. When I go to Setup -> Personal Email Setup and then click "back" (so as not to set up a new account) I get a message "An email address does not currently exist for your Blackberry device" -- and yet I am still receiving messages on the yahoo.com account and can reply, check out folders, etc. When I check the Service Books, there is no listing for any service book associated with the email account; indeed, no CMIME listing at all.How can I remove email access to the yahoo.com account from this phone? How in the world is it still receiving emails?

I just got my new Bold 9700 and the included 2 GB memory card is showing up as almost full. Through Media Manager I see the culprit is a bunch of backup files, including a file called ArcNB.NBZ (this file alone is 1.5 GB). Anyone know why this is on here? Can I safely delete it along with other backup files?
