I converted part of an .mp4 file into an .avi file in an attempt to see if the conversion would allow it to run on the phone...it did but with no picture because I used the wrong codec
However, now I can't delete the file and keep getting an error message stating that the file is in use, which it is not.
I have checked through applications manager and also did a soft reboot. still won't let me delete the file.
i have nokia c2-00 mobile. which is new.its support Internet video.but when i play video .it open media player and say 'unable to open file' i hv tried another all sim.same problem is there.

I've tried finding the private folder where the cache is-doesn't exist
It has something to do with the phone memory, can't find the cache/thumbnail folder there...
I have set up the camera settings on my E55 to store pictures on the memory card.Now, after transferring those I wanted onto my computer's HD, I deleted most of the photos from the card (in Windows Explorer). However, when I go to 'gallery' on my phone (with the memory card inside), these files can still be seen - i.e., their names and sizes (but not the images). I cannot seem to be able to delete these entries from the phone's interface.

Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an N8 and haven't upgraded it to Bella. I can't access to my pictures in my phone. If I go to the pictures gallery and select albums it says "837 captured items" but when I select the file it shows nothing, it says "no images or video clips"!!!.
I know they are in E:
but when I use File manager and enter to E: I can't open the images file, it says "unable to open, file not supported". I don't know what to do, I don't have the cable to connect my phone to my computer and even if I had it I cannot enter to Ovi suite because I have a Mac.
i have got a sound clip which is i believe its in amr format now i cant delete it when i go into my sound clips i got the sound click there but when i click delete it says unable to delete and just goes to like a lock key icon and i cant do anything more with it. it is on my sd card stored but i cant even locate it by looking for it manually by putting the sd card in my pc. When i go into my gallery for some reason i got all my video etc there but i got this sound clip about 10 times in an microphone icon and i cant even delete it there as well.Whats going on guys i tried a hard reset and that but cant get rid of it. What should i do? I tried to scan the card for bad sectors and it found 32 and fixed um but i still cant delete that file and i believe its causing my phone to behave funny like random pics turn up on the phone that i not even put on there and phone freezing etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if anyone has noticed it but when I go to the gallery to play some videos, the videos play normally but every 4-5 seconds they freeze or get jerky for a tiny bit although no other programms are running. This happens with videos i took with my previous phone that are stored on the mobile card. Their quality is vga 30fps, but i don't think that's the problem.
