I just got a new Cosmos from Verizon and so far I love it. Just having a bit of a problem figuring out how to send full size photos to my PC. I tried one at 1280x960 landscape and it auto resizes before I can send it anywhere.I took another 1280x960 portrait and it will send full size to my email addy.I haven't experimented a lot yet, but I'm thinking the landscape orientation used too much file size for the network so it auto resizes. Is there a way to decrease the file size a bit without decreasing the resolution? I need to send pics to my email that are at least 1024x768.Auto resizing is BAD.
I have a Nokia N85 and i'm having trouble sending and receiving pictures full size. If i do receive pictures or send them to other phones they are signifcantly reduced in size and appear as a small square on screen. I have attached a pic of my phone screen with a picture displayed that was sent to me after from my girlfriends N85.
I have been through the settings to the best of my knowledge and set the image size to large but this seems to have no effect. To do this i went to MESSAGING>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE>IMAGE SIZE (set this to large)
I tried asking this in the "N Series" section but got ver very little help. I figured those posting in this section are more interested in the picture side of mobile phones. So therefore are more knowledgable and be better at helping.

I recently got myself the nokia lumia 1020 after seeing and hearing about the camera on it. Well, I'm disappointed with the photos after transferring them to my computer and I am wondering if I am only getting the 5 mp shots off of the phone. I have a mac, and so I downloaded the Windows Phone app onto the computer so that I can hook my phone up via USB and take the photos off. When I take them off, they are grainy when you zoom in a couple of times. They also only appear to be, on average, 2mb in size. It seems to me that the full sized photos would take up more space than that, or am I wrong?
I use torch 9800 and use corporate e-mails over the 1 year. 2 days ago received notification regarding mailbox size warning. The text: The mailbox (my corporate e-mail account) is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail, or ask the admin to upgrade your account to have a larger quota. This mailbox is currently 91.94% (45.97/50.00 Megs) full. Also should I periodically clean /restore my mailbox in the blackberry or it is being automatically deleted after some date?
When watching any video on my S2 (either downloaded or streaming) the video itself is very small in the centre of the screen. This wasn't always the case with it though. I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.
I am having issues with some Apps like the game Jewel with graphics not being stretched to the full size of screen.Just started after 3.2 update from yesterday. Is this a video compatibility issue with some Apps not updating yet to catch up with 3.2?
I have a iPhone 4 with the latest iOS. When I add a contact to my phone, I choose a contact picture from the photo library. I make a test call to the number, and the photo appears full size. The moment I leave the contact screen and try to make a test call again (for example, adding the contact to my favorites and using a favorite link to make a test call) the picture appears as a thumbnail. This happens immediately and to every contact I have. I sync the contact list with Google contacts.
The size of photos taken by my Lumia 950 is about only 4 to 5 MB although I set it to JPEG(16 MP) . Another confusing point is that their dimensions are about 3000*5400 which roughly gives 15 MP not 20 MP!!
Apart from the size and dimensions, the quality of photos also do not sound superb in general, there are just fairly good, so I guess that something might be wrong.
I can take great high res photos but every time I ask to email it says "the attachment file maybe reduced in size" this doesn't happen in Facebook or when I bbm the photo and I never had this happen with my old Tour phone.
My friend has Bold 9000, and I have Bold 9700. When i send a picture to his bb through bbm, he recieves it in full size and quality, but when he sends me a picture from his bb to mine through bbm, i recieve it in a lower quality and size then the actual picture. we both are using the latest bbm.
I'm a long time lurker, but a new member...I have been searching for any way to get games on my new lg cosmos. I have tried replacing the ez tip calc, but on the cosmos, it is a .vis file, basically everything is! LG got smart on not putting .swf, but I'm pretty sure it has flash capabilities. Is there any way to get java, brew, or flash on it?
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums. 1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I moved photos manually from the internal storage to the SD card and now when viewing in My Gallery the photos appear to be stamp size instead of screen size
I recently took a video that was 1.5 min and the size of the file was over 6 mb. I used the default settings. I was unable to enclose it in a text, or an email on the phone. I moved it to my computer but still was unable to email it as it was to large. I tried zipping it, raring it but could find no way to send it.
There has to be a way to reduce the size of a video as I can with photo's.
I have an LG Cosmos through Verizon. I can't seem to get Bitpim to transfer ringers and sounds. Someone in another thread said they changed the setting to the VX5500 to get ringers to work. I tried this, and it showed them in bitpim, but they never show up in the phone. Anyone have any advice on what I am doing wrong?
My wife just got a Cosmos. She replaced an 8-year old phone which has a phone list that cannot be reused.I have the contacts she wants saved in a CSV file. What is the best/easiest way to transfer from CSV into the Cosmos? Or can I import them into Outlook Express and sync with the Cosmos? One more possible option? Can I transfer the contacts from my new Incredible via bluetooth.
I want to access my LG VN250's internal memory through the USB connection to my computer (if possible), and/or increase the space to store my text messages to unlimited (well, limited by my 2gb memory card). Can anyone help me with that?
Is it just me, or do the images in the Photos app in Win 10 Mobile (Brand new 950XL) not take advantage of the screen? For every image I have to pinch to zoom in on an image, then double tap to zoom out before I can swipe to another image. This seems like another major oversight/annoyance in Windows 10 mobile.
I was recently noticing some differences in the pictures saved in the stock S6 Gallery app and those backed up in the Google Photos app. Even though I have the Photos app set to upload "full size"... there is a noticeable difference when it comes to clarity and ability to zoom. Is there a fix that I am simply overlooking? Because it's not even close to be honest.
I'm trying to send text but its keep saying RESEND and when I check memory says messages 14kb to 26 kb even though its empty and after 2 3 times resend it says GENERAL: MEMORY FULL. CLOSE SOME APPLICATION AND TRY AGAIN.But in ma cell its 48mb space free
I have a nokia N97 and in it there is two disks, C: and E: The C: is just a few MB and the E: is 32GB. Everytime I download anything I save it on E: but still a bit from C: disappear too. And now I have 25GB free on E: and C: is 20 kb. The problem is that can't download anything anymore, I can't take pictures and not even send messages, because the mobile says that memory is full but it isn't!
My phone won't let me open any messages or photos or anything, it keeps coming up with the message 'Memory full. Close some applications and try again'. I haven't got any applications open and haven't got that much stored on it.
I encountered my first system glitch with my Vivaz. Pictures are not saved and received an error pop-up that said: Memory Full. The problem there are no photos saved both in the Memory Card and Phone memory. I'm so frustrated with this phone.
