I have a nokia N97 and in it there is two disks, C: and E: The C: is just a few MB and the E: is 32GB. Everytime I download anything I save it on E: but still a bit from C: disappear too. And now I have 25GB free on E: and C: is 20 kb. The problem is that can't download anything anymore, I can't take pictures and not even send messages, because the mobile says that memory is full but it isn't!

When i open the gallery and watching the pictures in the gallery in sequence, I am getting a popup message like "Gallery: Memory Full. Close some applications and try again". View 7 Replies View RelatedI currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

However, as far as I can tell, there is practically nothing on the phone memory. I have no apps installed, everything I can is set to use the SD card, SD card is the default memory.I have a few emails, but nothing in sent items, or deleted items. There are a couple of hundered contacts, but I can't image that uses much.Viewing details using OVI it tells me 3.8MB of 256MB free.The software version is 054.005, and according to OVI that is the latest.I have seen lots of other threads with the same problem, but have not been able to find any solution in the threads. I have tried everything I have read (re-installing the software, rebooting, etc. etc.). Can I view what is in the phone memory (I cannot find a way, only to view what is on the SD card) if I could view it then memory I would know how to free memory up.

When I click the menu button on one of these camera photos the "send.....via email, text message etc " is not in the list of options. If I click the menu button on a picture that has not been taken with my Blackberrys camera the option IS there.I've tried attaching a photo whilst in a text message or an email, it gives me the option "attach" however when I click on the photo I want to attach it wont attach it.
I don't understand why a picture attachment is always receiving the error message that it can't be sent.

So i connected it via usb and then deleted it via my PC. Then a system error message started coming up and I ignored it at first. However my friends were saying they were not recieving some of my calls and texts. So i looked at other forum posts and people reccomened to update the firmware so i did that and now my phone is in major problems. It keeps saying memory full and when i try to access the memory part to clear some stuff it just restarts. sometimes it says vcommand something and restarts but usually it just says memory full and restarts.
